COLORADO @ VANCOUVER | 11/17 | 9:00 PM EST
UNDER 6
ANALYSIS: Colorado is one of the best offensive teams in the NHL when at full strength, but superstar Nathan MacKinnon is currently out as are center JT Compher and stellar young offensive blueliner Bowen Byram. The Avs also haven't been quite as explosive on the road. Vancouver is simply not a good offensive team, averaging 2.50 goals per game. Thus, we'll take the Under 6. The Under is 20-8-3 in the Canucks' last 31 home games.
HOUSTON BAP. @ TEXAS A&M | 11/17 | 1:00 PM EST
OVER 140.5
ANALYSIS: Let's get today off to a good start with the first game of the day (will give me something to watch/care about while I work). And really the question here on the Over is whether Houston Baptist can get to 61 points because the Aggies should score at least 80 -- Houston Baptist ranks No. 356 out of 358 teams via KenPom in adjusted defense. The Huskies allowed 92 points in their opener at Texas and scored 122 last time out against something called Barclay College. The team plays pretty fast. The SportsLine Projection Model has 144 points being scored. Sagarin 143. This obviously will be a rout so there should be plenty of easy baskets.
DREXEL @ SAINT JOSEPH'S | 11/17 | 7:00 PM EST
SAINT JOSEPH'S +1
ANALYSIS: The SportsLine Projection Model has Saint Joseph's winning by eight in this Philadelphia rivalry yet we get a point? ESPN has the Hawks by 2.2 points and Sagarin by 2.7. The Hawks are coming off a convincing 80-60 victory over NEC Champion Mount St. Mary's on Saturday. Drexel won this matchup by four last year, but the Hawks have won the past nine at home in the series.
UC DAVIS @ PEPPERDINE | 11/17 | 10:00 PM EST
PEPPERDINE PK
ANALYSIS: Love those pick'em games because if we can't pick a winner outright, what are we doing here? I've had success on Pepperdine dating to last season and will back the Waves again at home. The SportsLine Projection Model has them winning by 11. I don't think that's right. ESPN power rankings has Pepperdine by 8.9 points. Also seems high. Sagarin by 1.5 points. This is the first-ever meeting between Pepperdine and UC Davis.
DALLAS @ PHOENIX | 11/17 | 10:00 PM EST
UNDER 216
ANALYSIS: I'm really not a huge NBA totals guy, but this seems high as the Mavericks was without superstar Luka Doncic (see news feed). They averaged less than 103.0 ppg last year in the six he missed. Both Dallas and Phoenix are middle of the pack in offensive rating this year but the Suns are No. 6 in defensive rating. Will the Mavs even get to 100 sans Doncic? Perhaps not, and the Suns probably aren't scoring more than 116 in their third game in four nights.

CHICAGO @ PORTLAND | 11/17 | 10:00 PM EST
CHICAGO +1.5
ANALYSIS: Both Damian Lillard (abdomen) and Norman Powell (ankle) are listed as questionable for Portland. Losing either player would be significant, considering how little amount of depth the Trail Blazers have. When Lillard sat out against Denver on Sunday, they lost by 29 points. The Bulls are hot right now, winning back-to-back games on the strength of DeMar DeRozan's offensive explosion. I think Chicago could win this game outright, even if Lillard and Powell play. If they don’t, the Bulls could run away with the victory.

VALPARAISO @ STANFORD | 11/17 | 8:30 PM EST
STANFORD -13
ANALYSIS: I have Stanford as a 16-point favorite. The Cardinal did get beat by a strong Santa Clara team, but Valparaiso is going to be much easier to defeat. Stanford beat San Jose State by 14 points on Monday, and I think this opponent is similar on a talent level. The Beacons have yet to cover or win this season and allowed Illinois-Chicago to upset them in overtime on Saturday. Stanford should cover the spread.
UTAH VALLEY @ LBSU | 11/17 | 10:00 PM EST
UTAH VALLEY +1
ANALYSIS: Let's grab the points with Utah Valley. The Wolverines are coming off a 12-point win against Pepperdine in which they were 3.5-point underdogs, and my model makes them one-half point favorites versus the Beach. This isn't the biggest edge, but there's a good chance Utah Valley can win outright, and we get to cash in if it's a one-point contest as well.

IUPUI @ UTSA | 11/17 | 5:30 PM EST
UNDER 134
ANALYSIS: This is the third straight day I'm playing the Under for the Jaguars. They have such a bad offense and they play at one of the slowest paces in the nation. The Jaguars are averaging 48.3 pointsand haven’t reached 60 points in a game yet. They are shooting 33.8 percent from the field. The Roadrunners are not much better offensively. Over their last three games, they are averaging 61.3 points on 36.1 percent shooting. Both teams are playing their third game in three days so fatigue will be a factor. Even though the Roadrunners like to play fast, but they won’t be able to against the extremely slow-paced Jaguars.
DENVER @ TEXAS A&M-CC | 11/17 | 2:00 PM EST
UNDER 140.5
ANALYSIS: Both of these offenses are terrible. The Pioneers are averaging just 66.5 points, with two of their four games coming against non-Division I teams. The Islanders scored 65 in each of their two games against Division I teams. According to KenPom, these teams rank 346th and 347th respectively in adjusted offensive efficiency. These teams also are on no rest. This is the Islanders' third game in four days and it is the second game of a back-to-back. This is the Pioneers' third game in three days. Go Under.
