SEATTLE -160
ANALYSIS: The Mariners were shutdown by Yu Darvish last night, understandable considering he tends to do that a lot. They have their ace pitching tonight in Luis Castillo though while the Padres have Mike Clevinger starting. Clevinger has been very hit or miss this season and he has been worse on the road with a 4.55 ERA. The Mariners bullpen is also ranked 4th in the last 30 days to the Padres 19th.
MLB | PITTSBURGH @ CINCINNATI | 09/14 | 12:35 PM EDT
UNDER 8
ANALYSIS: Both these games yesterday came in under this total and they didn’t have nearly the starting pitching matchup as today. Roansy Contreras and Nick Lodolo have both been dominating lately. Both the Reds and Pirates lineups are extremely thin with injuries and haven’t been scoring much in the first place. My only worry here is the bullpens, but both pitchers should go about 6 innings to minimize them.

MLB | L.A. DODGERS @ ARIZONA | 09/14 | 9:40 PM EDT
L.A. DODGERS -130
ANALYSIS: Michael Grove has been given two opportunities to start, and the Dodgers are 2-0 behind him. He allowed just two earned runs combined over 8.1 innings. This is a cheap number. Arizona's Zach Davies just gave up six runs at Colorado. The Dodgers own the Diamondbacks, winning 11 of 13 meetings this season and 35 of 42 the last three seasons. L.A. has won its last four games. Dodgers to win.
MLB | L.A. ANGELS @ CLEVELAND | 09/14 | 1:10 PM EDT
CLEVELAND -115
ANALYSIS: Cleveland has won five straight while Los Angeles has lost three in a row. Mike Trout’s home run streak is over, and it’s Cal Quantrill day, which means the Guardians are likely to win. They’ve won 11 of his last 12 starts, in part because of his arm, but also as a result of their bats. Quantrill is a good luck charm for the lineup as it has averaged 6.7 runs in his last 12 outings. Take Cleveland to win.

MLB | L.A. ANGELS @ CLEVELAND | 09/14 | 1:10 PM EDT
CLEVELAND -115
ANALYSIS: Cal Quantrill is 5-0 with a 1.80 ERA in his last seven starts with three scoreless outings in that time. Patrick Sandoval has been great in his last seven starts too with a 1.67 ERA. However, he struggles to get deep in games consistently and the Guardians have been hitting lefties a lot better than righties in their last 30 days. The Guardians also have the best bullpen in the league the last 30 days while the Angels are ranked 15th. The Guardians are an extremely streaky team and they have won five in a row so I think they stay hot.

MLB | BALTIMORE @ WASHINGTON | 09/14 | 7:05 PM EDT
BALTIMORE -140
ANALYSIS: Definitely on a bit of an MLB roll right now. It's nice when your bet isn't determined by a failed PAT. Still so irked at Bengals (and Baylor). We won on the Orioles on Tuesday and will go back to them against Patrick Corbin (6-18, 6.30 ERA) on Wednesday. I will be fascinated if the Nationals actually let Corbin start another game this season if he loses this one and gets within one defeat of 20 losses. We have seen a 20-loss pitcher just once since 1980: Detroit's Mike Maroth in 2003. Why do I think Corbin comes down with a mystery injury and is shut down if he loses here? The lefty lost in Baltimore earlier this year, allowing three runs in four innings. O's starter Tyler Wells has been a bit better on the road. This ML feels like it should be at least -160.
