NY Knicks vs Minnesota T'wolves
Play: NY Knicks - 6.5

T'wolves continue to play terrible ball on Fridays, 0-5 TY,bringing the 3 yr tally to 15-31, almost a 70% play against. And this is Friday nite in the Big Apple, an even bigger party distraction. The new look Knicks have been a problem for non-conf teams since HC D'Antoni arrived from Phoenix, 8-2 ATS.This is just a tough looking spot for the Friday nite phobic T'Wolves. They come off a road trip to San Antone in their last game on Tuesday, then head out for this trip to the Big City, then head back to the Twin Cities for a home game tomorrow vs Orlando. T'Wolves have only scored 540 pts their lst 6 games. NY playing with revenge for a 21 pt loss at Minnesota last season, should be able to put the hammer down here to blast away their 4 game losing streak.

$1000.00 Central Michigan (-7) over Florida Atlantic

This year has been a disappointing one for the Owls and I think it’s going to end with a blowout loss. Central Michigan is playing essentially a home game, and FAU will only have about 1500 fans at Ford Field for this game. The Chippewas have won back-to-back Motor City Bowls, including a win over Purdue last year in a game where 60,000 fans attended! Central Michigan plays on this field for the MAC Championship Game as well, and have won titles on this very field. Dan LeFevour is going to be the best player on the field and this is a tremendous edge playing virtually a home game. Florida Atlantic has lost four of its last six road games, and their two wins were by a combined four points. They have been unimpressive away from Florida and I don’t think that they are going to show up in this one. Central Michigan wins in a blowout to put another feather in the MAC’s cap

The Booooj

10 Units on Central Michigan (-7) over Florida Atlantic

Florida Atlantic (6-6) vs. Central Michigan (8-4)- The Motor City Bowl features 2 powerful offenses led by Junior QB’s. Florida Atlantic’s Rusty Smith has put up some huge numbers for the Owls and should be able to lead his offense to some scores in this one, but the Chippewa defense is not as bad as they showed in their last outing. I would expect a much better performance out of the Central defense, this is not to say that they will pitch a shutout, but they should be able to come up with some stops when they need them. On the other side of the ball, record setting QB Dan LeFevour will make plenty of plays with his feet and through the air. Look for Wide Receiver Antonio Brown to have a big game as the Chippewa offense rolls up many touchdowns. Central’s defense should be able to feed off of what will be a Chippewa heavy crowd, to make enough plays to allow their offense to pull away. Central by 16-21.

Kelso

25 units Central Mich (-7) over Fla Atlantic

This game matching Florida Atlantic (6-6) and Central Michigan (8-4) is a good example of making sure that what you got during the regular season is what you are getting in the bowl games. The Central Michigan team that plays here is precisely the team you saw during the season; Florida Atlanta is not. Florida Atlantic will be without two starting offensive linemen, a starting linebacker and its place kicker, all victims of academic ineligibility. And these are not just any starters. Offensive lineman Brandon Jackson is a 4-year starter, while Kevin Miller started at one of the guard spots. Outside linebacker Andre Clark is one of the team's best players. As for place kicker Warley Leroy, he is a 5th year senior who has held this job for three season. A team cannot lose this many starters of this caliber and expect to be the team it was. This game also will be played before a heavily partisan Central M ichigan crowd. Florida Atlantic is bringing less than 1,500 fans to the game. I cannot find a single spot in which Florida Atlantic has an edge.
