I appreciate the concern but nobody is going to hurt me by expressing their opinions. I very rarely remove or edit any posts where people speak their mind as long as it stays civil. Anything you want to put out there will stay here, I'm all about free speech.

At the end of the day it's about right and wrong and good old "do onto others...". You wouldn't want to win a bet and have someone tell you to get fucked so you shouldn't do the same.

A burden I carry is that (no offense to anyone here) very few people actually know how online sports gambling works. It's a lot more complicated then most people are willing to accept and it's a lot more then throwing up a website and posting some lines.

The bigger sports books (bodog, sb.com, cris, etc) in some cases have upwards of 500 people working there. I think a lot of people have the misconception that it's a guy wearing a leisure suit sitting in front of a bunch of computer screens.

In reality it's accountants, consultants, oddsmakers, managers, marketers, customer service people, risk management, security, etc etc etc.

When people do this ignorant shit they hurt all players not just the book in question. This jackass isn't the only one that tried this today and when enough people do it to piss off the company processing the transactions in between the customers and the sports books they will just cut them off.

So when you bitch about not getting paid on time or you have a credit card that gets declined when you try to deposit these are the assholes you can thank.

Processing money in and out is hard enough post UIGEA. It's not like a sports book that has to move money for 10,000 people a day or more can just go and fill out a credit application and pick up a new processor to replace the one that was sick of charge backs.

Basically what I am getting at is don't be so foolish to think that something like this can't effect you. It certainly can, it certainly will and problems you have experienced in the past have been a direct result of tricks degenerate gamblers use to try to beat the system.

I have spent time in every top sports book that caters to North American customers and I can tell you that what you think you know about online sports gambling is probably very little when it comes right down to understanding the whole process from start to finish.

Edit this.

Dude, your friend's a prick.

If I had been taking his plays as a local book, I'd cut him off and call my peers to let him know the guy's not good for his bet.

I had Pitt, and the play sucked, but get real, I like to consider this "sports investing", but it still runs in the blood of it that it's gambling, and a loss is a loss.

Tell your friend to contact the sportsbook and give them THEIR money back.

Grow up.
😡
