This is like triple revenge for the Jets tonight, so the motivation should be there. In the first game, this was a 6-3 game until Farve threw an interception that was returned to the Jets 31 yard line. New England scored on that possession to take a 13-3 lead. This took the Jets out of their game plan, and they only had the ball 3 more times, the rest of the game. New England controlled the time of possession, but was only 1 for 5 in the redzone. The Jets only saw the redzone 3 times, scoring once. New York was averaging 5.0 ypc, but only ran 21 times. They also had several offensive penalties. My power ratings have New England favored by a half a point. Looks like a 3 point game from here. The Jets defense looks a lot better since giving up 24 to Kansas City. My main concern is how well Farve holds onto the ball, and if he will throw an interception or not. The weather should be wet and cold, so any turnovers in their own end could decide this game. I can't see either side blowing the other one out, so who ever makes the least mistakes in this one, wins. I am taking a shot with the Jets+3.5, and hope they run the ball more in this one. New England is good with keep away, so the Jets need to make the most of each possession, and not make stupid mistakes.
