Lions nearly a touchdown underdog at home to the Eagles in NFL Week 2

Two teams that will have to start backup quarterbacks will meet in Motown this Sunday when the Detroit Lions host the Philadelphia Eagles at 1:00PM ET.
Game Preview:
Kevin Kolb failed a series of tests earlier this week after suffering a concussion in last weekend’s loss to the Packers. That means he won’t be medically cleared to play against the Lions and the Eagles will go with backup Michael Vick instead.
Vick played well against Green Bay last week and kept the Eagles in the game up until their final possession. He should have an easier time throwing the ball against one of the worst defensive backfields in the league.
Meanwhile, the Lions are also forced to start a backup quarterback in Shaun Hill after Matthew Stafford suffered a shoulder injury last weekend in Chicago. Hill nearly led the Lions to a win with a last second touchdown to Calvin Johnson, but the call was reversed and Detroit wound up losing, 19-14.

When the status of Matthew Stafford was unclear earlier in the week, the Lions opened at +3.5.
