NBC Sunday Night Football: Packers vs. Patriots Picks & Predictions
By Anthony Rome

Bet Packers vs. Patriots

The New England Patriots are getting closer to earning the top seed in the AFC and with the decimated Green Bay Packers coming to town, another victory could be well within their sights. Continue reading for picks, odds and more on this Sunday Night Football matchup.

According to Week 15 NFL odds and oddsmakers from online sports book SBGGLOBAL.com, the Patriots are 14-point favorites against the Packers on Sunday. The over/under total for this game is currently 43.5 points.

The Packers dropped to 8-5 after losing to the Lions last Sunday and are now just 7-6 against the spread according to latest NFL trends. They’re 3-4 on the road this year and have failed to cover in four of their seven games away from Lambeau Field.

The Patriots improved to a league-best 11-2 with their win over the Bears last Sunday. They’re now 8-4-1 against the spread this season, which includes a 3-2-1 ATS record at home. They’re also 6-0 straight up in Foxboro this year.

NFL Week 15 Free Pick:

It's going to be tough for the Packers to win with Matt Flynn, even if they get another great effort out of their defense like they've had most of this year. Tom Brady and the Patriots' offense is peaking now and they won't let their foot off the gas now. They've already clinched a playoff spot in the AFC and now have their sights set on the No. 1 seed in the conference. Their defense is starting to hit their stride too and they won't suffer a letdown against a quarterback in Flynn who really struggled last Sunday in Detroit. If Aaron Rodgers were playing, things would obviously be different. But with him out, Brady and Co. should roll - our pick is the Patriots -14.
