Week 6 Picks Oklahoma State at Texas A&M

A tough conference game just got tougher for No. 15 Oklahoma State, as the Cowboys will be without star receiver Dez Bryant when it faces Texas A&M Saturday at 12:30PM ET from Kyle Field.

Bryant, who was an All-American last year, was ruled ineligible to play by the NCAA after violating a NCAA rule when he lied about having a dinner at the home of ex-NFL star Deion Sanders. Now, the Cowboys are without their top weapon as Bryant had caught 17 passes for 323 yards and four touchdowns on the year while also returning a punt for a touchdown. Zac Robinson will have to step up for OSU at quarterback. Robinson has thrown for 791 yards and six touchdowns on the year, but had not played to the level many expected while leading the Cowboys to a 3-1 record. Keith Toston has rushed for 280 yards and four touchdowns on the season in the rushing attack. The Cowboys rank fourth in the Big XII in points scored per-game, but rank near the bottom of the conference in all major defensive statistics.

The Aggies are 3-1 heading into their conference opener, with the lone loss coming last week at home against Arkansas, 47-19. Quarterback Jerrod Johnson has thrown for 1,306 yards and 11 touchdowns without an interception on the year and five different Aggies have at least 130 yards receiving, as Texas A&M is second in the conference in passing offense. Cyrus Gray and Christine Michael have combined to rush for over 500 yards on the season while the Aggies as a team are third in the Big XII in rushing. On defense, Texas A&M is second to last in points allowed per-game.
