***BEST BET
Kentucky over Louisville* by 35
It’s time for some revenge as Kentucky travels to face its
in-state rival that has seen better days. Big Blue lost last
year’s game by 24 points when Louisville had now Baltimore
Raven QB Lamar Jackson. Losing a player like Jackson would
be enough of a handicap on the follow-up, but it seems that
this team lost its ability to play defense of any kind. They
have allowed 43 points per game on the season. The unit's
work lately has been particularly awful. By virtue of 333
rushing yards per game allowed, they have allowed an
incredible 183 points in their last three contests. Kentucky
excels with the ground game at 192 ypg on 4.7 ypc. They
have played well when having motivation this year and a
chance to bury an in-state rival is good enough here. This
is also a step down in competition from their usual SEC
foes. The Cardinals’ only cover this year was a four-point
loss to FSU when they were getting five points. It’s hard
to see another one coming here. KENTUCKY 48-13

**PREFERRED TOTAL
UNDER 43
Colorado at California
With six straight losses, Colorado said goodbye to head
coach Mike MacIntyre one game early, in a season that has
gone off the rails. With injuries to star WR Leiviska
Chenault and now banged-up QB Steven Montez, this offense
is just not in a good place. They have scored a single
touchdown in each of their last two games. Cal’s defense
is playing outstanding right now and is coming off of an
unexpected week of rest. In their previous three games
they had allowed 40 points total on 313.3 ypg. Fortunately,
for Colorado, the Bears offense hasn’t been stellar at
13.3 ppg in those three games. Colorado’s defense is
nothing to write home about, but this Cal offense is a
good opponent for them right now. CALIFORNIA 21-13.
