Super Bowl Early Thoughts:
No newsletter this week. It will come out Next Wednesday at 3pm ET.
We will wait until the prop market becomes widely available.
I did bet Philadelphia +1.5 and UNDER 51 on the Sunday openers but I was just anticipating market moves at that point.
I'm waiting on the Kansas City injury report to clear up. There is a chance I'll be on the Chiefs.
Why are you no longer doing the Powers' Picks Newsletter next year?
I'll dive more into this in next week's issue but it mainly comes down to it takes too much time for too little of money. I am betting more and more every year and that is where I want to focus my time.
I will still be do a CFB preview with all the season win total, game of year, futures bets, etc. I will also do a weekly power ratings report with logs and a few other things (more on that later).
College Basketball Note:
I'm not doing College Basketball right now. In fact, I'm not doing any regular season college hoops. I'm always behind the "CBB only" guys and I don't think I'm extremely positive EV when handicapping it in January and February. I will handicap the conference tournaments and the Post-season Tournaments. I like to originate. I don't want to pass off other people's work as my own. I'm a football first and foremost guy.
