NFL Divisional Playoff Odds & Over/Under Totals
Oddsmakers have released the point spreads and over/under totals for the second week of the NFL playoffs, including the marquee matchup between the Dallas Cowboys and Minnesota Vikings.
After destroying NFC East rival Philadelphia in the Wildcard round, the Cowboys find themselves as 3-point underdogs against the Minnesota Vikings this week, according to oddsmakers from online sports book SBGGLOBAL.com. The over/under total for this divisional round matchup has been set at 47 points.
In what might turn out to be a thrilling shootout at the Superdome, the New Orleans Saints host the Arizona Cardinals, who beat the Green Bay Packers in overtime last Sunday. The Saints have opened as 7-point favorites, while the over/under total has been set at a whopping 57.5 points.
In the AFC, Peyton Manning and the top-seeded Indianapolis Colts host the Baltimore Ravens, who crushed Tom Brady and the New England Patriots last Sunday. Oddsmakers have set the opening point spread odds at Indianapolis –7, but the line has already dropped to 6.5. The over/under total has been set at 45 points.
The New York Jets opened as 9-point underdogs against the San Diego Chargers, but the line has since dropped to 7.5 after the J.E.T.S. beat the Cincinnati Bengals in the opening round. The total has been established at 42.5 points.
Much like the Ravens-Patriots game, the Jets-Chargers matchup will pit an offensive juggernaut against a top-notch defense. And much like the Ravens, the Jets can control a game with its ground game, so the Colts and the Chargers – the top two teams in the AFC – will certainly have their hands full this weekend.
