The Cowboys are coming off a 17-10 defeat at Denver as a 3-point favorite. Tony Romo struggled, going 25 of 42 for 255 yards and an interception. He also misfired several times in the second half, including on a 4th and goal with only seconds remaining in the game.
The Chiefs fell to 0-4 on the season after suffering a 27-16 loss to the Giants. Matt Cassel threw for 127 yards and two touchdowns, but Kansas City failed to cover the 9.5-point spread.

The Dallas defense is starting to come together after a rough start to the season. But Romo and the offense have regressed the past two weeks and the running game has suffered with Marion Barber and Felix Jones battling injuries.
Kansas City has struggled all year on both sides of the ball, especially on defense as it tries to transition to the 3-4 front. But nine points is a lot to give a home team, even though the Giants covered the 9.5-point spread last week.
The Cowboys aren’t playing with a ton of confidence right now and even though the Chiefs have struggled defensively, Dallas doesn’t have a ton of offensive weapons to take advantage.
