NFL Playoffs 49ers vs. Panthers Divisional Round Picks & Predictions
By ATSSportsline.com

CHARLOTTE, NC (ATS Consultants) – In the most evened matchup of the Divisional Round, the Panthers will host the 49ers today at 1:05PM ET in a pick'em.

NFL Odds: According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, this game is currently sitting as a pick'em while the over/under total is resting at 41 points. San Francisco enters play with a 13-4 record overall and is 7-2 on the road, while Carolina is 12-4 overall and 7-1 at home.

Line Movement: The Panthers originally opened as a 1-point home favorite but the line quickly swung in San Francisco's direction and for a day or two, the Niners were 2-point road favorites. But then the line dropped again, this time in favor of the Panthers, and now most books are keeping the game as a pick'em. There are some books, however, that list the Niners as either a 1.5 or 2.5-point favorite. As for the total, it opened at 42 and has been bet down to either 41.5 or 42, depending on the book you view.

Public Betting: Of the wagers currently placed on this game, 78% of NFL public bettors currently favor the 49ers. This information is subject to change leading up to kickoff, however, so make sure you click on the link provided for the most up-to-date NFL public betting numbers.

KEY NFL BETTING TRENDS: The 49ers are 7-1 against the spread in their last eight road games, 4-1 ATS in their last five Divisional playoff games and 10-4 ATS in their last 14 games overall. The Panthers are also 7-18-1 against the number in their last 26 games after accumulating less than 150 yards passing in their previous game and are just 1-4 ATS in their last five games in January. The Panthers beat the Niners 10-9 earlier this season in San Francisco but that's when the 49ers were without Michael Crabtree and Aldon Smith, and only had Vernon Davis for a half. Now that they're at full strength, they should win what will be a close game throughout.
