NFL Sunday Night Football Bears vs. 49ers Week 2 Picks & Predictions
By Anthony Rome

SAN FRANCISCO, CA (The Spread) – After they were shocked at home last week by the Bills, the Bears will hope to avoid falling to 0-2 when they visit the 49ers tonight at 8:30PM ET.

According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the 49ers are 7-point favorites over the Bears while the over/under total is currently sitting at 48.5 points. San Francisco opened as 7-point favorites and that's where the number remains, while the total opened at 48 and has been bet up.

The 49ers raced out to a 28-3 lead against the Cowboys last week in route to a 28-17 victory in their season opener. Colin Kaepernick completed 16-of-23 passes for 201 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions, while Frank Gore rushed for 66 yards on 16 carries and Anquan Boldin caught eight passes for 99 yards in the win. Tight end Vernon Davis caught both of Kaepernick’s touchdown passes.

The Bills shocked the Bears 23-20 in overtime as a 7-point road underdog last week in both team’s season opener. Jay Cutler completed 34-of-49 passes for 349 yards with two touchdowns, but he was also intercepted twice and those turnovers eventually led to Chicago’s demise. Making matters worse, receivers Brandon Marshall (8 catches, 71 yards, 1 TD) and Alshon Jeffery (5 catches, 71 yards, 0 TDs) are both questionable for tonight’s game.
