NFL Week 3 Predictions: Browns vs. Ravens – Take Baltimore
By Anthony Rome

AFC North rivals meet in Baltimore this weekend when the Ravens host the Cleveland Browns on Sunday. Let’s take a look at the matchup and make some predictions about this weekend’s game.

Bet Browns vs. Ravens

Before making a prediction, let’s take a look at the odds for this game.

Oddsmakers from online sports book Sportsbook.com have made the Ravens 10.5-point favorites over the Browns in Week 3. The over/under total for this game has been set at 37 points.

The Ravens are coming off a nasty loss to the Bengals in Week 2. Joe Flacco threw four interceptions on the day and was only 17-of-39 passing for 154 yards with one touchdown. He finished with a QB rating of 23.8, which is not good to say the least.

Fortunately for him and the Ravens, they’re playing a Browns team that could only muster 14 points in loss to the Chiefs last weekend. Seneca Wallace threw for 229 yards and one touchdown, but Cleveland couldn’t move the ball in the second half and Kansas City begrudgingly produced a victory.

This week it should be the same situation for the Browns, although I fully expect the Ravens to rebound.

The Prediction:

The Ravens aren’t going to play that poorly two weeks in a row – especially with the Browns coming to town this weekend. This is the Ravens’ home opener and after two long weeks on the road, they’re looking forward to sticking it to a hapless Cleveland team with zero offensive firepower. My prediction for this game is to take the Ravens and lay the 10.5 points. Division games are usually close by nature, by the Browns are at a serious disadvantage at every level and Baltimore should have no problem moving the chains this week.
