NFL Wild Card Playoffs Picks & Predictions: Steelers vs. Bengals
By ATSSportsline.com
With big injuries to both teams, can the Pittsburgh Steelers and Cincinnati Bengals find consistent offense in today’s 8:15PM ET Wild Card Playoff Game?
According to oddsmakers at RealBets, Pittsburgh is favored on the road, as the Steelers are getting odds of -1.5 points against Cincinnati today. The over/under total for the game has been set at 44.5 points.
Cincinnati is 12-4 on the season, 6-2 at home, 12-3-1 against the spread and 9-7 with the under. Pittsburgh is 10-6 overall, 4-4 on the road, 9-6-1 against the spread and 10-6 with the under. The road team won and covered the spread in both meetings this season. These two have hit the under in six of their last nine meetings.
It might be a wet one in Cincinnati, but either way, the Bengals are going to have to win this game on the ground. A.J. McCarron can manage a game but he doesn't want to get into a shootout against Ben Roethlisberger, who has become mistake-prone the last month or so. Not having a legitimate running back, with DeAngelo Williams out, puts even more pressure on Big Ben. Expect this be more of a low-scoring affair.
