Downtown D was scarce. No people walking. Opposite of chicago.
My friends there said the subarbs around the city is amazing. We know what we want for our future. We will def be settling down there.

Definitely the opposite of Chicago. lol

The city center is very pedestrian friendly but as you move out it's almost like there's an exclusion zone where the neighborhoods start. And then you get to the suburbs like where I live and it's nice again. Very odd. But so many people left the cities neighborhoods it's almost like they created an island in the heart of downtown.
