Utah State vs New Mexico State
Aggies (-) over Aggies
Okay, you know I did my homework to come up with a side in this nondescript contest that has very little appeal to the public. Really now, if 'we' didn't have action on this game who would watch. Note that New Mexico State just ended the nations longest bowl drought making their first appearance since the 1960 Sun Bowl. Utah State dropped their final game to Air Force has done one thing NMS hasn't done. That is score more points on the season then their opponents. Bad very bad thing. Take UTAH STATE!

Louisville vs. Kentucky
Louisville+5½ -110
I'm recommending a play on Louisville plus the points on Friday (1 PM ET Tip). Kentucky has another heralded freshmen class, but the Wildcats come off a loss to UCLA after barely covering at home against Virginia Tech. The Wildcats need improvement defensively as the Bruins and Hokies shot a combined 52.6 percent from the field. Kentucky shot only 42.6 percent itself against UCLA and made only 6 of 21 3-point shot attempts. Kentucky has played only twice in nearly three weeks while Louisville has won six in a row after earlier losses to Purdue and Seton Hall. David Padgett is doing a great job so far after replacing Rick Pitino and the Cardinals have plenty of size and experience. They're holding opponents to a .376 field goal percentage and only 64.6 points per game. Deng Adel averages a team-leading 15.6 points, Quentin Snyder scored 12.2 points per game and Raymond Spalding averages 10.8 points and 9.3 rebounds. Kentucky has yet to show it can play well for 40 minutes against a good team. We're recommending a play on Louisville plus the points. Thanks & GL! Scott Spreitzer.
