Knicks vs. Jazz
Jazz-5
The Knicks were at one time above .500. Things have really changed here as of late. They are just 3-11 SU their last 14 games. They have also struggled big time on the road this season with a 5-16 SU record.
I realize the Jazz haven't exactly been world beaters themselves by any means. They do player a lot better at home with a 13-8 SU record. The main reason here for me though is that Gobert returns to the lineup tonight and he will provide a spark for this Jazz team.

Golden Knights vs. Panthers
Vegas Golden Knights -103
The Golden Knights are worth a flyer at this kind of price here.
Vegas continues to be one of the best in the NHL and their offense is one of the most threatening.
Averaging 3.34 goals per game, this team can strike in bunches. That's what makes them one of the most dangerous teams. They just have so many weapons that can light things up quickly and cause a lot of havoc.
Some trends to note. Golden Knights are 7-0 in their last 7 vs. Eastern Conference.Golden Knights are 5-1 in their last 6 Friday games.
This price is just too nice to pass on.
Back Vegas.
Good Luck, Razor Ray.

Rudy Gobert is expected to make his much-anticipated return from an ankle injury tonight. The Jazz have been leaky on defense, which is the reason for their 5-15 slide. But they should get right at home tonight against a Knicks team that is just 3-11 in their last 14 games overall. The Knicks have been great fade material on the road, going 5-16 SU & 8-13 ATS on the highway this season. The Jazz are 13-8 SU & 13-8 ATS at home and still possess one of the best home-court advantages in the NBA. The Jazz are 6-1 ATS in their last seven games following a win by more than 10 points. Give me the Jazz.

Jack’s Free Pick Friday: Indiana +14.5
The Indiana Hoosiers have really turned the corner here of late under first-year head coach Archie Miller. They are playing their best basketball of the season right now and are ready to give the Michigan State Spartans a run for their money.
Indiana is 5-1 SU & 5-1 ATS in its last six games overall. The Hoosiers went on the road and beat Minnesota 75-71 as 8-point dogs, topped Penn State 74-70 at home as 1.5-point favorites, and crushed Northwestern 66-46 as 2.5-point home favorites in their last three games.
The Spartans aren’t playing well enough right now to warrant being 14.5-point favorites. They are 1-2 SU & 0-3 ATS in their last three games overall, failing to cover the spread by a combined 59.5 points. They lost 64-80 as 6-point favorites at Ohio State, needed overtime to beat Rutgers 76-72 as 22-point home favorites, and lost at home to Michigan 72-82 as 9.5-point favorites.
The Spartans are 1-6 ATS in their last seven games vs. a team with a winning record. The Hoosiers are 4-1 ATS in their last five Big Ten games. The Spartans are 1-4 ATS in their last five Big Ten contests. Bet Indiana Friday.

Comp play for Friday is the Knicks plus the points at the Jazz.
New York will go for the season-series sweep tonight in Salt Lake City, as they were a 106-101 home court winner back in November as the -3 1/2 point favorite.
The Knicks have covered the last pair in this series, and are 3-1 against the spread the past 4 series meetings.
True, New York is just 2-7 straight up their last 9 games, and just 3-6 against the spread in those 9, but Utah is not much better of late, as the Jazz is on a 3-7 straight up run, and a 4-6 against the spread run their last 10 times on the court.
Overall, New York is a whopping 22-4 overall spread run in this series, and they have covered in 13 of the past 16 at Utah!
Grab the points.

10* FREE NBA PICK (Raptors -6)
I'll take a shot here with Toronto at home against the Spurs. San Antonio will not only be without Kawhi Leonard, but both Rudy Gay and Manu Ginobili are out for tonight's game against the Raptors. I think any concern of Toronto not taking this game seriously because of the injuries can be thrown out the window with this being the Spurs, plus there's some revenge on the line here, as the Spurs have won each of the last 4 games in the series, including a slim 4-point win at home back in late October.
Toronto has been one of the toughest teams in the league to beat on their home floor, as they own a 16-3 record at the Air Canada Centre. They are also 14-4 ATS in their last 18 vs a top tier team that's won between 60% to 70% of their games and 22-8 ATS in their last 30 vs top tier defensive teams that are allowing 98 or fewer points/game. Give me the Raptors -6!

Dave’s Friday Free Play:
1* on Toronto Raptors -6
The Key: The Spurs haven’t won back-to-back games since late December. They are struggling with all of their injuries right now. They lost in Atlanta and barely beat Brooklyn in their last two games coming in. Now they take a huge step up in class against the Toronto Raptors, one of the best teams in the NBA. The Spurs remain without three of their best players in Kawhi Leonard, Manu Ginobli and Rudy Gay tonight. I don’t give them much of a chance of even being competitive against a Raptors team that is 16-3 at home this season. The Spurs are just 11-14 SU & 8-14 ATS on the road. Toronto is 14-4 ATS when playing against a good team winning 60% to 70% of their games over the last 2 seasons. The Raptors are 22-8 ATS against good defensive teams allowing 98 or fewer points per game over the last 3 years. The Raptors are 8-2 ATS in their last 10 games when playing on one day of rest. The home team is 6-2 ATS in the last 8 meetings. Take Toronto.

Scott "The Bulldog" Rickenbach NHL Game #51 Friday Free Pick Montreal Canadiens Money Line (+) @ Washington Capitals @ 7:35 ET - Both of these teams are off of a big divisional game and have a key divisional game on deck. However, there are two key points that make backing the Canadiens well worth it. First off it is simply the value that the big road dog is providing here as they are priced in the +150 range. Secondly, it is the fact that the Capitals were in action last night and #1 goalie Braden Holtby was between the pipes. That means that back-up Phillip Grubauer will be between the pipes for this one most likely and Washington has lost 8 of his 12 starts this season! That is a 33% proposition on a big favorite here and even taking the goal-tending out of the equation Washington has won just 20 of 40 (50%) the last 2+ seasons when in the 2nd night of a back to back. Taking 50% odds at a +150 price is also a great proposition. The Habs have lost 3 straight to the Caps so there is plenty of motivation as they did lose 6-1 here earlier this season. My free play is on Davidson over St. Bonaventure.
The Bonnies (12-5, 2-3) have endured a rough two-week stretch, and now they're back on the road to continue their rough trek through the Atlantic 10.
Tonight they catch Davidson (9-7, 4-1), easily the A-10’s hottest team (okay, maybe Rhode Island is playing good). Not good considering St. Bonaventure has lost three of its last four - all on the road - by an average of 10 points.
The Wildcats are enjoying an incredible 3-point season, so much so you'd think a kid names Steph Curry was playing for them again.
But this year it is Peyton Aldridge, who averages 20 points and seven rebounds per game. He ranks third in the league in scoring while Jaylen Adams is in at fifth with 19 points.
Davidson ranks in the top four of the A-10 statistical categories in just about every offensive column, including scoring (4th), field goal percentage (2nd), 3-point field goal percentage (3rd), free throw percentage (2nd) and assists (1st).
Lay the cheap number.

My free winner for tonight is on Yale minus a cheap number, on the road at Brown. And I won't get long-winded with this one, it's going to be a quick and easy analysis.
The Bulldogs already knocked off Brown once, and now, in both teams' second conference game, Yale is going to complete the sweep in the second leg of this annual home-and-home series.
The Bulldogs pulled out a home win over the Bears, despite a sloppy, 20-turnover performance.
Yale is too dominant in the paint, and by limiting mistakes and pounding the boards, the Bears will have a hard time keeping up with limited touches.
Take the road chalk.
