1 Unit FREE PLAY on Los Angeles Lakers +6
The Charlotte Hornets are broken right now. They are 1-6 SU & 2-5 ATS in their last seven games overall. They just lost outright at home as double-digit favorites to the Bulls last night. And that game went into overtime, so the Hornets aren’t going to have a lot of energy for tonight’s game against the Lakers. The Lakers will be playing just their 2nd game in 6 days and will have plenty of energy. They are coming off a 107-104 upset win in Philadelphia as 8.5-point dogs and I expect them to pull off the upset here tonight over the Hornets as well. The Lakers are 5-0 ATS in their last five meetings in Charlotte. The underdog is 20-6-1 ATS in the last 27 meetings. Give me the Lakers.

NBA | Knicks vs Bulls
Play on: Knicks -4 -102 at 5Dimes
Jack’s Free Pick Saturday: New York Knicks -4
The Chicago Bulls are in a very difficult situation here. They just ended their 10-game losing streak with a 119-111 (OT) victory at Charlotte. Look for them to take a sigh of relief now and relax after ending that skid.
But the Bulls will also be fatigued, obviously. They will now be playing the 2nd of a back-to-back and their 3rd game in 4 days. Robin Lopez played 43 minutes, Kris Dunn 4, Justin Holiday 39, Lauri Markkanen 34 and David Nwaba 32 last night. They aren’t going to have much left in the tank tonight, especially after the long flight from Charlotte back to Chicago.
Meanwhile, the Knicks come in well-rested and ready to go. They have had two days off since a 99-88 home win over Memphis on Wednesday. They just recently got a healthy Kristaps Porzingis and Enes Kanter back in the lineup. They’ll be looking to exploit the tired Bulls here Saturday night.
The Knicks simply own the Bulls, going 5-0 SU & 5-0 ATS IN the last five meetings, winning all five games by 8 points or more. New York is 7-2 ATS in its last nine vs. a team with a losing record. The Knicks are 5-1 ATS in their last six games following a win of more than 10 points. Bet the Knicks Saturday.

NBA | Knicks vs Bulls
Play on: Knicks -4 -110 at GTBets
I'm laying the points with the NY Knicks on Saturday. Chicago snapped their 10-game losing streak with a 119-111 OT win last night in Charlotte. Give the Bulls credit for finding their offense, but it was just their 4th win in 24 games this season and we don't suspect a winning streak is about to begin. They're 0-4 ATS both off a SU win and when playing without rest between games. The Knicks whipped Memphis last time out and did so without Tim Hardaway, who's out with a leg injury. His loss is baked into this number as far as we're concerned. We have a Knicks' team that's covered seven of their last nine against teams with a losing record, while covering five in a row in this series. I'm laying the points with the Knicks on Saturday. Thanks & GL! Scott Spreitzer.

NHL | Blues vs Red Wings
Play on: Red Wings +132 at betonline
Scott "The Bulldog" Rickenbach NHL Saturday Free Pick Detroit Red Wings Money Line (+) vs St Louis Blues @ 1:05 ET - The Blues are off of a big divisional win over Dallas as they defeated the Stars 3-0 in St Louis on Thursday. Look for the Blues to be a little flat off of that big win and there is value here in backing the home dog. St Louis has cooled off since their hot start this season. While it is true the Blues are off of back to back wins it is also true that they previously lost 6 of their 10 prior games. The Red Wings got some confidence back with a 5-1 win versus Winnipeg Tuesday and there is no doubt this game means more to Detroit than St Louis. The Red Wings get a chance to knock off one of the top teams in the league while the Blues look across the ice knowing they are facing a hockey club that had lost 7 straight before their win over the Jets. This is the type of game where upsets happen and that is exactly what I am calling for here. The Wings are playing just their 2nd game in the past 7 days so they definitely have fresh skating legs here. The Blues are playing their 3rd game in 5 nights and they are off of back to back big wins with ending the Canadiens winning streak in Montreal and knocking off the rival Stars. Free Pick DETROIT

Jim Feist's Comp Pick, Saturday, December 9, 2017
12/09 12:00 PM PT / 3:00 PM ET
CF (103) ARMY VS (104) NAVY
Take: (103) ARMY
Reason: Your free play for Saturday, December 9, 2017 is in the College football game between Army and Navy. Army has a chance to win the Commander-in-chief trophy here today with a win over the Middies of Navy. Army won last year in Baltimore, 21-17, snapping a 14 year losing streak in this annual matchup. Don't expect to see many passes in this game as both these option teams will ground and pound this game. This game is run by the QB's, but not through the air, through the ground. Ahmad Bradshaw of Army has rushed for 1,472 yards and 11 TD's while Navy's Zach Abey has 1,322 yards and 14 TD's. Expect another hard-nosed effort here by both clubs. These games are usually low scoring (38 points the last two years and 27 the year before). Can't believe there is a 46 point total on this game. Play the UNDER. Army getting some points here is just too much to pass on. Take Army.
Army vs. NAVY (45' un, -110) - at Philadelphia, PA
By Tommy Brunson
Your comp play for Saturday is the tried and true series play in this Army-Navy clash, and that is Under the total.
Last year Army was able to end Navy's long series domination as the Black Knights took a 21-17 decision in a game that landed Under the total.
That makes each of the last 10 series meetings having held Under the posted price.
10-0! 10-0 Under, as in 100% Under the past 10 years in this rivalry.
Army has played 2 of their last 3 games Under the total, while Navy has been Under in their last pair of games, and 4 of their last 6 overall.
With snow expected to fall today in the City of Brotherly Love, this game should be another one of those "ball control" classics these military institutions seem to always play.
Until I actually see one of this December Army/Navy games land Over the total, mark me down for the Under all day long!
5* ARMY-NAVY UNDER
UCLA (+4') at MICHIGAN
By Joey Juice
et's back the red-hot Bruins as they head out to Ann Arbor to do battle with the Michigan Wolverines this afternoon.
The momentum is certainly with the Bruins, as UCLA absolutely pulverized Detroit 106-73 in their last game, while Michigan is coming off a road loss to Ohio State 71-62. The last time these two teams met was last season and UCLA got the big "W", 102-84.
A quick look inside the numbers, because that's all we need in order to know why we are betting this UCLA Bruins team. The UCLA Bruins absolutely crush the Big Ten, they are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 games against Big Ten teams.
The Michigan Wolverines can't cover against winning squads, they are 0-5-1 ATS in their last 6 games against a team with a winning percentage above .600.
To make matters even worse for Michigan, they only shot 37% in their loss to Ohio State, and their offense just hasn't been reliable this season thus far. How will they be able to score with UCLA, a team that is more than capable of putting up big numbers?
The other problem for Michigan is their defense has been suspect as well, allowing opponents to shoot 44% against them. Couple that with the fact that UCLA is a very strong shooting team that for all intents and purposes, should shoot the shit out of the ball today. UCLA gets the win and cover.
4* UCLA
San Antonio at PHOENIX (+8')
By Tommy Brunson
NBA comp play winner on Phoenix plus the points at home versus San Antonio.
The Spurs just played and won a tight one last night at home against Boston. I would say without a shadow of a doubt Coach Pop's club is going to be a little tired when they hit the floor in Phoenix tonight.
The Suns were idle on Friday, and they have been rewarding their backers to a tune of 4-2-1 their last 7 games against the spread, with covers in 3 of their last 4.
San Antonio is just 4-7 against the spread on the road this season, and they have dropped 2 of their last 3 visits to the Valley of the Sun.
Look for the points to work with the rested host as they play host to the unrested road favorite.
