STEPHEN NOVER

Arizona vs. Colorado
Arizona-9

Kudos to Colorado on its 90-81 overtime victory against fourth-ranked Arizona State this past Thursday. The Buffaloes were nine-point home 'dogs in that game. But now, less than two days later, the Buffaloes have to face 14th-ranked Arizona. I don't see the inexperienced and emotionally exhausted Buffaloes staying within single digits of the Wildcats. The Buffaloes are 7-19-1 ATS following a victory. Colorado is a young team that lost four starters and two key reserves from last season. The Buffaloes are better suited to match up against quick tempo teams who shoot a lot from the outside. In other words, opponents similar to Arizona State. Not Arizona. The Wildcats are in the same state as the Sun Devils, but Arizona plays much different than Arizona State. The Wildcats are about size and power. They have a huge inside force in Deandre Ayton, who is expected to be a high No. 1 pick in June's NBA draft if he leaves college after the season. Arizona ranks seventh in the nation in field goal percentage and is 29th in scoring at 84.2 points per game. Arizona is the vastly superior team and the spot is good for the Wildcats to roll over the Buffaloes

N. Dakota St. vs. James Madison (47.5)
By Jack Brayman

My free play run is now at 10-3.

And for Saturday I am playing the college football championship game between North Dakota State and James Madison. I love the UNDER in this game, as you can expect the pace to be slow, and the game to be very physical.

How physical? Well, James Madison is considered by some as the Alabama of the FCS level. And North Dakota State hasn't allowed more than 14 points in all but two games this season.

And the Bison will be out for revenge against James Madison (14-0), which ended North Dakota State's 22-game postseason winning streak in Fargo last season.

The Bison have strolled through the postseason, winning by an average margin of 36 points.

But let's not get carried away with North Dakota State too much, as it's not that much of a lock as you may think, based on its offense.

James Madison leads the nation in scoring defense (the Bison are second), and if the Dukes are going to knock this team off again, and stay undefeated, it starts with the stop unit. The Dukes forced 10 turnovers in a 51-16 win over South Dakota State in the semifinals. They have an FCS-leading 43 takeaways, including 31 interceptions.

And while North Dakota State boasts the top defense in the nation, the Dukes rank third. This game reeks of a defensive struggle, and I'm playing this one Under.

5* UNDER James Madison/N. Dakota St.

Tennessee at KANSAS CITY (44'un, -110)
By Tommy Brunson

DeMarco Murray's absence is going to hurt the Titans, but I believe Mike Mularkey will still stick with the run and use Derrick Henry against one of the poorer teams in run defense today against the Kansas City Chiefs.

The Titans will try and play possession football and keep the clock moving in a AFC Wild Card Under from Arrowhead Stadium this Saturday afternoon.

Tennessee just played Under the total last Sunday in their 15-10 home win over Jacksonville, as the Titans have seen 4 of their last 6 games land Under the posted price. For the season, the Titans played half of their 16 games on the schedule by holding their opponents to 20-points or fewer. 4 of the Titans last 6 road games held Under the total. as have their last pair of games played at Kansas City. Last season the Titans and Chiefs combined for 36-points in their meeting at Arrowhead, and in 2014 the teams also combined for just 36-points in their game played at KC.

The Chiefs have really been bottling up attacks, as 3 of their final 4 games this season held Low, and 6 of their last 8 games overall also held Under the total. The Kansas City defense has been able to hold 5 of their last 7 foes to 16 points or less, and with Marcus Mariota not exactly being a "home run" hitter this season, look for another lower-scoring game from Arrowhead Stadium today.

Titans and Chiefs Under the total.

2* TENNESSEE-KANSAS CITY UNDER

Pittsburgh at VIRGINIA TECH (-17)
By Tommy Brunson

College basketball comp play release for Saturday will be for Virginia Tech to come out in a very foul mood and blowout this depth-shy Pittsburgh team in an ACC battle in Blacksburg.

The Hokies saw Virginia wipe the floor with them earlier this week, as the Cavs entered as the -3 1/2 point road favorite and absolutely hammered Tech, 78-52! You know darn well that practice the rest of this week with Buzz Williams blowing the whistle was not very pleasurable, but the good news is the Panthers are on the schedule today.

Pitt has suffered back-to-back conference double-digit losses, last Saturday at home to Miami-Florida, and then Tuesday night at Louisville. As if the Panthers didn't have enough on their plate with their lack of depth, they are also missing big man Ryan Luther who is out with a foot injury until later this month.

Tech's home loss to UVa was their first loss in 10 home games this season, and they are still 5-1 against the spread on their home court this season.

The Hokies have won the last pair in this series, and they are on a 5-1 against the spread run the last 6 times these conference rivals have played one another.

Lay it as Tech hammers Pitt on Saturday afternoon.

4* VIRGINIA TECH
