NFL | Bills vs Dolphins

I'm recommending a play on the Miami Dolphins plus the points on Sunday. Buffalo still has a shot at the postseason, but they must take care of their own business in Miami. The Bills need a win, along with a Ravens' loss. Or, they can get in with a win combined with losses by the Chargers and Titans. We don't believe they're going to leave Miami with a victory. The young Dolphins want this win to end the season on a good vibe. The Bills are 2-5 SU on the road this season and this marks just the second time they have been a road favorite. The Bills lost 34-21 to the Jets as a 3 point favorite in November. They have now won just 3 of their last 12 road games dating back to last season, allowing 27 ppg. The Bills are dead last in yards passing per game and 30th defending the run. The Dolphins have been a disappointment, but they have won four of their last six home games, outright, including a win over New England. The Dolphins are 3-1-2 ATS in their last six home games and the home team in this series is on a 6-2 spread run. Miami actually out-gained the Bills two weeks ago in a 24-16 loss at Buffalo, but couldn't overcome a minus-3 turnover ratio. We expect the Dolphins to gain a measure of revenge, ending Buffalo's hopes of a postseason berth. I'm recommending a play on Miami plus the points. Thanks & GL! Scott Spreitzer.

The Winnipeg Jets have been money at home all season long (14-3-1), but they've been unreliable on the road and dropped eight of their last nine away from home. Here they'll face an Edmonton side looking to avoid ending the year on a three-game slide, and the Oilers will also be looking for quick revenge for a 4-3 loss at Winnipeg on Wednesday.
The Jets defeated the Islanders 4-2 at home on Friday in their first game since finding out that they'll be without No. 1 center Mark Scheifele for six-to-eight weeks. It's not uncommon for teams to come together in the first contest without a star player, but they often find it much tougher after that.
I expect the Oilers to deliver as a home favorite here on New Years Eve.

Your Sunday freebie is Buffalo and Miami Over the total.
When the Bills and Dolphins met on December 17th up in Buffalo, the teams were able to combine for 40-points as they squeezed over the oddsmakers impost of 30 1/2 points. That Over between the teams marked the 5th straight series Over dating back to 2015, and I see no reason to play against some points being posted today in Miami.
Including that Miami meeting a few weeks ago, the Bills have played their last pair Over, and are on a 7-3 Over clip their last 10 games played. Buffalo is not officially eliminated from postseason consideration, so expect the Bills to pull out all stops in order to do the first things they MUST do, and that is win this game. That being said, Buffalo should be good for right around 28-points.
Miami has played 2 of their last 3 Under the total (the one Over the game in Buffalo), but the Dolphins have eclipsed the posted price in 8 of their last 10 games overall since late October. Dolphins not going anywhere for the postseason, so no reason to play this game conservative from their end.

The only result Carolina will know come this time-flexed 4:25 pm eastern game is the Bears-Vikings, which if Minnesota wins gives them a first-round bye.
Still in the balance for the Panthers is the division title though, as if the Saints lose and the Panthers win today in Atlanta, Carolina would cop the NFC South Division crown. So, as you can see, Carolina could wind up anywhere from the #2 seed to the #5 seed, and although they are dealing with a ton of injuries, I see the points working against the defending NFC Champion Falcons who due tend to "play'em close".
Atlanta is NOT the same team that cruised last year in the second half of the season. The Falcons must win this game - or have Seattle lose to Arizona (not likely) to punch their playoff ticket, but Matt Ryan is far-off his MVP season of a year ago, and 3 of the Falcons last 4 wins have come by just a field goal.
Carolina stopped a 3-game series losing streak both straight up and against the spread with the 20-17 win on November 5th at home as the +3 point underdog, and today sure feels like deja-vu all over again. Panthers own a 7-2 road spread mark as the division underdog. Care to make that 8-2 ATS?

Let's back the white-hot Bulls, as they have been simply on fire since the return of Mirotic to their lineup. He has added the depth and versatility they were missing during their awful stretch to start the season. His shooting ability has also opened up and created opportunities for other guys as well, a dynamic that has been missing without him on the court.
Washington has also been playing well, but have been way more inconsistent, looking great some nights, and not interested on other nights. For example, they beat Boston and Houston this week, two of the top three teams in the league, but then lost to the Hawks, who are one of the worst.
Bottom Line: You just don’t know which Wizards team will show up.
The Bulls are playing with momentum, they are 9-0 ATS in their last 9 games following a straight up win. They are also 7-0 ATS in their last 7 when their opponent scores 100 points or more in their previous game. Speaking of momentum, Bulls are 10-1-1 ATS in their last 12 games following an ATS win
The Washington Wizards have been inconsistent at best, they are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games following a straight up win. They are also 1-5 ATS in their last 6 after scoring 100 points or more in their previous game.
