NBA | Suns vs Raptors
Play on: Raptors -13 -110

1* Free Play Toronto Raptors (7:35 EST).

Phoenix comes in off a rare road win in Philadelphia just last night and suffice it to say, I think it looks primed for a predictable letdown here.

The Raptors have won three straight, but haven’t played since Friday’s 120-115 home win over the Pacers. Toronto is rested and doesn’t play for two nights after this, so with nothing to “look forward” too, I’m expecting the home side to come in extremely focused here.

Phoenix on the other hand is playing the final game of a tough six-game swing and as mentioned off the top, it comes in off a win just last night.

I’ll point out as well that the Suns are just 6-13-1 ATS in their last 20 road games against a team with a home winning percentage of greatner than .600, while the Raptors are 4-1 ATS in their last five when playing with three or more days of rest.

I think the Phoenix starting line-up comes in “gassed” in the second game of the back to the back and I believe Toronto’s depth will prove to be too much for the visitors to overcome tonight.

Consider laying the points in this matchup.

Good luck…Larry

NHL | Jets vs Red Wings
Play on: Jets -129

RED HOT 7-0-1 L8 FREE PICKS - 9-3 PREMIUM PICKS L3 DAYS

The Detroit Red Wings suffered an embarrassing 10-1 road loss at the hands of the Canadiens on Saturday, their seventh straight defeat. Sure, the Red Wings won't keep losing forever, but I don't think they can compete with the white hot Winnipeg Jets right now.

The Jets are 9-2-1 in their last 12 outings and shut out the Senators in a dominant 5-0 triumph on Sunday. "It's incredible the way we’re clicking right now and the confidence in this room. It's fun to watch," Winnipeg goalie Connor Hellebuyck told reporters after the game.

Jets are 5-0 in their last five vs. a team with a losing record and 20-6 in their last 26 games playing on one days rest. Road team is 5-2 in the last seven encounters between Winnipeg and Detroit.

My free pick is on the Winnipeg Jets.

NCAA-B | James Madison vs The Citadel
Play on: OVER 175 -110

over 175

JMU is off a high scoring game in the upper 160's against Charlotte and now faces the Citadel, who have the highest totals of any team under coach Duggar Baucom. The team can score as well as allow points and gave up 144 to Butler last year and over 130 to Virginia Tech. The opportunity is there for 176 or more on Tuesday night.

NCAA-B | James Madison vs The Citadel
Play on: OVER 174½ -110

Scott "The Bulldog" Rickenbach CBB Game #741 Tuesday Free Pick OVER the total in Citadel Bulldogs vs James Madison Dukes @ 6 ET - This total has dropped from its opener but the bigger total was absolutely justified. The Bulldogs have been horrible on the defensive end as they've allowed 51% field goal shooting and 94 points per game so far this season. However, Citadel is averaging 89 points per game and, since they are at home, I expect them to score plenty plus dictate the pace of this game. Not only are the Bulldogs 3-0 to the over this season, James Madison is 5-2 to the over on the young season. Also, the past 3 seasons combined the Dukes are 16-11 to the over when off of a non-conference game and the Bulldogs are 9-3 to the over in non-conference games. Look for more of the same here. OVER in Citadel

NBA | Wizards vs Blazers
Play on: Blazers -5½ -110 at 5Dimes

Life without star guard John Wall is turning out to be dark, cold and lonely for the Wizards, who were already struggling before he had to shut it down on Nov. 22 due to chronic knee pain. Things came to a head last night in Utah when Washington lost by 47 to a mediocre Jazz team. Their reward is a back-to-backer tonight in Portland against the Blazers’ All-Star level backcourt of Lillard and McCollum. The Blazers are hardly knocking it out of the park themselves, coming off home losses to Milwaukee and New Orleans. But Portland is rested and much healthier than the Wizards and should be able to cover the number.

Jim Feist's Comp Pick, Tuesday, December 5, 2017

12/05 04:35 PM PT / 7:35 PM ET

NBA (701) PHOENIX SUNS VS (702) TORONTO RAPTORS

Take: (701) PHOENIX SUNS

Reason: Your free play for Tuesday, December 5, 2017 is in the NBA game between the Phoenix Suns and the Toronto Raptors. The Suns started the season terribly, but have since showed at least some fight as they have improved to 9-16 on the Suns. The Suns have been a good covering team, going 14-6-1 their last 20 against a team with a winning record. They are also 3-1-1 ATS their last five overall. The Raptors are third in the East with a 14-7 record. Toronto has won three straight and seven of the last 10. Phoenix has covered the last four meetings with the Raptors in Toronto and are 16-5-1 the last 22 meetings overall. I don't expect a Suns win, but I'll take the double digits here with a good covering team. Play Phoenix.

Texas (-5) at VCU
By Joey Juice

The Longhorns are on the road, and they face the VCU Rams at the Stuart Siegel Center in Richmond, VA. The Longhorns have some momentum as they are coming off a 82-58 home win against Florida A&M. The Rams are also coming off a win as they beat Old Dominion 82-75 at home on Saturday.

A look inside the numbers shows a distinct Advantage for Texas. The VCU Rams are playing poorly Against The Las Vegas number, they are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games against a team with a winning percentage above .600, they are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 home games against a team with a road winning percentage below .400, and they are 2-7 ATS in their last 9 games following an ATS win.

Texas is getting it done so far this season on the defensive end, they are holding opponents to 37.5% shooting and they held Gonzaga to 67 points and Duke to 73 points prior to both of those games going to OT.

VCU, on the other hand, is struggling defensively, as they have let there opponents shoot 46% from the field against them. Texas offensively have more than enough guns to do serious damage to VCU, who has lost to all the strong opponents they have faced this season.

The free play is Texas.

2* TEXAS

Phoenix at TORONTO (-13')
By Jack Brayman

Tonight it's about the Toronto Raptors in blowout fashion over the Phoenix Suns.

Bad spot for the Suns, who are 9-16 on the year and have lost five of six. This is a tired team ending a six-game road trip that began in Minneapolis, and has stretched through Chicago, Detroit, Boston, Philly and now Toronto. Tonight will mark Phoenix's sixth road game in 10 days.

Toronto, meanwhile, comes in with a 14-7 mark and third overall in the Eastern Conference. The Raptors also boast an 8-1 mark at home and are riding a three-game win streak.

Raptors erupt on one of the worst scoring defenses in the league. Lay the chalk.

Phoenix at TORONTO (-13')
By Tommy Brunson

Tuesday night comp play comes in the NBA on Toronto to romp Phoenix.

The Raptors were idle last night, while the Suns were on court for game five of their six game road swing that concludes tonight in Canada.

Phoenix got the win last night in Philly, but tonight sets up to be a blowout loss against a Toronto team that hasn't played since December 1st, and is currently riding a 3-game winning streak.

The Raptors are 8-1 straight up at home, and they are actually playing this game versus the Suns in double-revenge, as somehow Phoenix has won outright in the last pair of meetings, and in 4 of the last 5 meetings overall.

Not tonight. Tonight it is all Raptors.

Lay it.

5* TORONTO

N.Y. Islanders at TAMPA BAY (-1', +165)
By Chris Jordan

The New York Islanders were in a marathon last night with the Florida Panthers. The teams traded goals, went into overtime, and the Isles prevailed in a shootout. Now they have to face arguably the best team in the league - for now - that being the Tampa Bay Lightning.

And there is revenge on the brains of the Lightning players.

Once 15-2-2, Tampa Bay took a 5-3 home loss from the Islanders, and went on to lose three of four games. Suddenly, in time, the Lightning are back. They returned home and scored a solid 5-2 win against the San Jose Sharks.

And because the Islanders won that first game here, and also have overtaken the Lightning as the league's top scoring team, averaging 3.7 goals per game, I think Tampa Bay will be out to make a statement against what could be a very tired team.

And keep in mind, Tampa Bay swept New York last year by a combined score of 14-2.

Second of back-to-back nights proves fatal for the Islanders. Lay the puck line with Tampa Bay.

Free pick on West Virginia -

I like the value here with the Mountaineers laying a short number at home against the Cavaliers. West Virginia laid an egg in their opener against Texas A&M, losing by 23 as a 7-point favorite on a neutral court. Since that loss Bob Huggins has had his teams full attention and the Mountaineers have responded by winning 7 straight.

Virginia comes in without a loss at 8-0 and that's definitely helping keep this a short number. I just don't think this is a great matchup for the Cavaliers, who like to grind out games with their defense. West Virginia is the exact opposite, wanting to create chaos with constant pressure. I believe the Mountaineers will be the ones dictating the tempo at home, where they have a huge home field advantage.

Including their 4-0 start this year, West Virginia is 45-7 going back to the start of the 2014-15 campaign on their home floor. It's also worth noting that the Mountaineers won 66-57 at Virginia last year around this same time. Take West Virginia!

NBA | Wizards vs Blazers
Play on: Blazers -5½ -117 at betonline

This will no doubt be a public play as well, but what we have seen from the Wizards without Wall especially last night getting spanked by the Jazz.

I think the Blazers will be eager here to get a win after dropping two straight games at home. Portland shouldn't have a problem exposing the Wizards with Lillard and McCollum.
