Southern Illinois vs. Bradley
Bradley-6½
Normally I prefer to take points when getting involved in a Missouri Valley Conference matchup since it's a tough, grind-out, defensive-minded conference. But I'm going to make an exception here and back Bradley at home. The Braves are 8-0 at Carver Arena this season. Their average winning margin at home is 17.3 points per game. The Braves have been huge money-makers at Carver Arena for quite a while now covering 84 percent of their past 26 home contests. Southern Illinois is down three rotation players due to injuries and has been dealing with a flu problem. The Salukis have only been able to practice with seven players during the last two days because of the flu problem. The Salukis also have a poor track record in this situation failing to cover in six of their last eight away matchups and going 2-7 ATS versus above .500 opponents. Bradley is 12-5, but coming off an embarrassing 68-44 road loss to Evansville. The Braves had defeated Valparaiso, 80-71, at home during their previous game. Southern Illinois just played at Valparaiso this past Saturday and lost, 83-72.

Rhode Island vs. St. Louis
Rhode Island-8½
I'm laying the points with Rhode Island on Tuesday. Rhode Island has covered the spread against Saint Louis 10 times in a row, including a 34-point win on this court last year, which makes this game's point spread look less daunting. The Rams are on a six-game winning streak straight up and have covered their last four, including an 81-60 blowout at George Washington on Saturday. Rhode Island is 7-1-1 ATS its last nine road games and 15-5-1 ATS its last 21 games overall dating to last season. The Rams are shooting 46.4 percent overall and 36.5 percent from 3-point range compared to 39.8 percent and 29.6 percent for the Billikens. Saint Louis is playing with only nine players due to injuries and arguably its best player, Jordan Goodwin, is doubtful with an ankle injury. The Rams are 6-0 ATS their last six conference games and 5-0 ATS the last five meetings in St. Louis. We're recommending a play on Rhode Island minus the points. Thanks & GL! Scott Spreitzer.

NBA | Magic vs Mavs
Play on: OVER 213½ -108
Scott "The Bulldog" Rickenbach NBA Game #505 Tuesday Free Pick OVER the total in Dallas Mavericks vs Orlando Magic @ 8:35 ET - The Mavericks are off of an under but the over was 7-2 in their 9 prior games. That was certainly thanks in part to the hot shooting of Dallas. In fact, the Mavs averaged 111.6 points per game in that 9 game stretch and I certainly don't foresee Orlando slowing them down. The Magic have allowed 112.5 points per game in their last 10 games. Orlando has scored 102.6 points per game in those 10 games and are averaging 105 points per game on the season. In other words, look for a shootout in Dallas Tuesday. The over is 19-10 when the Magic enter a game with two days of rest between games. The over is 10-6 this season in Mavericks non-conference games. Free Pick on OVER the total in Dallas

NBA | Magic vs Mavs
Play on: Mavs -6½ -110 at BMaker
Free Pick on Mavs -
I like the value here with Dallas at home against the Magic on Tuesday. This is a big game for the Mavs, as they want avoid getting swept in a 4-game homestand. Last time out they lost by just 4-points at home to the Knicks, despite shooting just 38% from the field. I look for a big time effort here and a comfortable win for Dallas against a Magic team to that has completely hit a wall.
Orlando comes in having lost 4 straight and are just 1-13 in their last 14 games overall. Winning on the road has been equally tough, as the Magic are just 1-14 in their last 15 away from home, with most of those coming in blowout fashion.
Last time out the Magic gave the Cavs a scare at home, but it was a misleading final, as Cleveland went into the 4th quarter with a 20-point lead. Orlando ended up losing by 4 and that's worth noting, as they are just 3-14 ATS in their last 17 off a loss by 6 or less and have lost these games by an average of 9 ppg.
The Magic are also a team that struggles against other bad teams, as they are just 2-11 ATS this season when playing a team with a losing record. take Dallas!

Big price on this Syracuse-Virginia contest, but after watching the Orange lose outright at home over the weekend to a Notre Dame team playing without 2 of their top scorers - Both Farrell and Colson out! - I am not so sure the Orange are going to fare much better against this Cavaliers team that can score it from the perimeter, and can defend it in the half-court.
Syracuse managed just 49 points in that loss to the Irish, and that loss was preceded by a conference road loss at Wake Forest as the Orange has now lost 2 in a row, and 3 of their last 5.
Virginia is smoking with 6 straight wins and a 14-1 straight up overall this season! Tony Bennett's team is allowing a measly 52 points per game to be scored against them, and they have covered the impost in 9 of 11 games when listed as the chalk.
The Cavaliers have a little payback in mind, as Syracuse has taken the last pair of series meetings both straight up and against the spread. The Cavs have won the last pair of series meetings at home though against the Orange, splitting the pair against the spread.
Syracuse has failed 10 of their last 14 lined road games, and with double-revenging UVa playing at peak form right now, look for the Cavaliers Pack-Line defense to keep the suddenly offensively-challenged Orange in their scoring slump.
Double-digit win for the Wahoos.
4* VIRGINIA

Let's back the Toronto Raptors as they play host to the Miami Heat, who are coming off an all-out effort in their last game in order to rally to beat the Utah Jazz in South Florida.
The Heat will now have to pack up and hit the road, exhausted, depleted, and facing one of the hottest home teams in the nation with a record of 14-1 in Toronto.
But how good are they against the spread you might ask, Toronto is currently 4-1 ATS in their last 5 home games. The Raptors also dominate the Eastern Conference as they are 7-1 ATS in their last 8 vs. East.
Take Toronto here
