NBA (707) MINNESOTA TIMBERWOLVES VS (708) CLEVELAND CAVALIERS
Take: over
Reason: The Cleveland Cavaliers have been a very strange team. On one hand, you have the team with the third best record in the Eastern conference at 30-22. On the other hand, you have a team that is horrible at covering spreads this year. The Cavs had to play last night at Orlando. They led 43-31 after one quarter and 67-51 at the half. In the second half, the Cavs scored a total of 31 of points and lost 116-98 to the Magic, a blowout loss. There is turmoil on this Cleveland team and they had better fix it before the postseason. Tonight, though, I'm looking at the over. The last five meetings between these teams have gone OVER. The Cavs are also 18-6-2 O/U the last 26 games at home vs a team with a losing road record. Play the OVER.

Your Wednesday freebie is the Pistons to keep firing against the Nets.
Brooklyn did cover plus the double-digits last night at home against Houston, but the Nets have now dropped 3 straight and 7 of their last 8 straight up with just a 2-6 against the spread mark in that stretch.
Detroit has won 4 straight, including all 3 with Blake Griffin in the lineup since the former Clippers star's arrival.
These teams split a pair of games in the month of January, the visitor winning and covering both. I look for that trend to end tonight, as they Nets should be a bit gassed from playing last night at home and having to travel after the contest.
The rested Pistons push things and get both the win and the cover.
4* DETROIT
