I will gladly lay the short number here at home with St Joe's. They are coming off back to back to back heart breakers and both were on the road. They lost @ George Mason by and @ U Mass by 3. Prior to that they had beat VCU and St Bonaventure at home in the underdog dog.
I also think Dayton is being a little over valued here coming off their back to back wins and covers. They absolutely destroyed VCU their last winning 106-79. They are due for a major let down here when you consider the fact that they shot over 60% in each of their past 2 games. That is extremely difficult to back up. They also have a huge look ahead game with Rhode Island this weekend who is the best team in the A 10.

NBA | Jazz vs Kings

My 1* Free Play is on the Sacramento Kings (10:05 EST).
The 17-26 Utah Jazz are in Sacramento to take on the 13-30 Kings on Wednesday and for a number of different reasons, I think this one favors the home side.
We don’t have to question the Kings effort level this evening, as they come in having lost five straight, most recently falling in OKC on Monday. The Jazz can empathize, as they’ve gone just 1-5 in their last six, most recently losing to the Pacers.
Rookie Donovan Mitchell was a bright spot in Utah’s loss to Indiana on Monday, scoring 23.
Jazz guard Ricky Rubio is just 4 of 18 from the floor over his last two games though and he and didn’t even have an assist in the loss to the Pacers (first time that’s happened in his career!) Meanwhile, Kings’ guard Buddy Heild, who has struggled on the road, has been fantastic in front of the home town crowd, hitting 48.5 percent from range.
Willie Cauley-Stein had 15 points in the the Kings 95-88 loss to the Thunder, while Hield added 16.
I’ll point out as well that Utah is already just 3-5 ATS off an upset loss as a favorite this year, while Sacramento is 24-15 ATS in its last 39 after three or more consecutive straight-up losses.
Two desperate teams going head-to-head on Wednesday night. All signs point to a competitive battle. Consider the points.

The Golden Hurricane is trying to end their current losing streak as they head to Philadelphia. Tulsa has a road win at Tulane earlier this season, but they've lost at Houston, Memphis, Oklahoma State and Illinois State. They are led by Junior Etou and Sterling Taplin who each average double digits while three others average eight or better. Temple has lost six of their last seven with three of those being at home against Memphis, Cincy and Tulane. This is a very talented bunch that is really hard to predict. They've been a pretty bad favorite at times and it's hard to trust them especially at home where the advantage they have is minimal. Tulsa has won there in the past and I think they keep it close in this one.

The LA Clippers are on a roll, coming off five straight triumphs and averaging 118.6 ppg during that stretch. They recorded a 113-102 victory over the Rockets on Monday and are 12-3-1 ATS in their last 16 games following a straight up win of more than 10 points and 10-4 ATS in their last 14 games playing on one days rest.
I fully expect them to remain hot here against a Denver Nuggets team which took a 112-80 beating at San Antonio its last time out on the road and is just 8-13-2 ATS away from home on the season. The Nuggets will play on no rest following a 105-102 home victory over the Dallas Mavericks on Tuesday.
This will mark the first meeting of the season, but we can note that the home team is 5-0 ATS in the last five meetings in the series and the Nuggets have won the past three encounters.

My money is on this game being a lot lower scoring than what you expect and thus I think there's some solid value here with the UNDER. This is one of the bigger rivalries in college basketball, which dates back to Villanova's win over the Hoyas in the 1985 championship game. That level of hatred for the opponent has players laying everything on the line. That intensity shows itself the most on the defensive side of the ball.
You have to go back to 2010 to find the last game in the series that finished with more than the number posted here. Each of the last 12 have all finished below the mark. The UNDER is also 4-1 in the last 5 meetings at Georgetown.
It's worth noting that the Hoyas know they can't come into this game and try to outscore the Wildcats. Their best chance of winning this game is to ugly it up and try to get Villanova out of sync offensively. These are also two very good defensive teams, which only adds value to this staying below the mark.
UNDER is 13-4 in the Wildcats last 17 games against a team with a winning record after they have played 15 or more games. It's also 8-1 in their last 9 road games vs teams who play good defense and are called for fewer than 17 fouls/game.
UNDER is also 12-3 in the Hoyas last 15 home games and is 4-0 in their last 4 vs a team that's won more than 60% of their games and 7-0 in their last 7 at home with a total of 150 to 159.5. Take the UNDER!
