I included the results of the both the MNF games so the records are complete and up to date. Two bookies posted a 12-4 record which is really very good. There were many bookies at 11-5, but I weeded out the bookies that took the Consensus for last week, also 11-5, and dropped those that were 11-5 but were taking the Consensus this week. So now we have our top 5 bookies.
Going 12-4 last week were Steve Harvey from the Edgewater-Laughlin, and Josh Pool from the Fiesta Rancho. Harvey has been in the top 5 many times before. Going 11-5 and tied for 3rd, 4th, and 5th are Craig Sasamura from Mirage, Anthony Santoro from TI, and the Venetians Rob Akers. Rob has also been in the top 5 many times before, so pay attention to his picks. Sooo, let's get started!

The number under the Consensus picks are the amount of time this team was selected out of 63 bookies. Last week the Consensus selected the Vikings 51 times and it lost. This week Atlanta is the highest selection with 48.
Two picks are unanimous this week in KC and MIA. Four selections were picked 4-1, and they are IND, SF, BAL, and PHI.
I found 4 selections this week where the bookies had the opposite selection than the Consensus. They are, TEN, JAX, NE, and DEN. Last weeks only opposite pick was ATL, and they beat DET.
Next week or the week after, the cream should rise to the top if past years are any indication, and we'll start to see about 3 bookies in the top 5 consistently.
I was in the business for 20 years in Vegas and only one of those names I know. ???
Then you should know how the business works. Here today...gone tomorrow. One guy that's
been there a while is Johhny Spot at Bill's and formerly at Barbary Coast. Who's the guy you recognize?

ROB AKERS
Most all of the guys that were in the business when I was are long gone except a few like Art M, Jimmy V and a few others who are able to get along with the bean counters.
Rob Akers has done very well in this contest in the past. I think he might have won it two years ago!
Read my first game on the board thread.
