Okay gents, so the topic of how to best use this site came to surface with a recent newbie to the forum. I game him some advice as to how to go about digesting and using all the information from the site. I basically take all the premium plays, and sometimes the regs as well, and put them into a spreadsheet, noting the pick and any note worthy comments such as the tout (for the ones worth following in my experience), how it was ranked (like 100, GOY, COM, Lock, play small, any projected score - again for those who have mathematical systems that are proven to be somewhat reliable such as the Dr. Bob himself or Dunkle). Much of it consists of personal shorthand that you may/may not understand, however just as much then are common abbreviations. I then sort it and digest. I narrow it down not necessarily by how often a side or total is being picked, but by how often it's being highly rated and by whom. I thought I would share with you all tonight’s spread sheet that I assembled. If you all think it's of value to you, I'd be happy to post it with regularity for your own use and hopefully personal gain.

Tonight I played Cin -4 (440), (330) teased cin +2/over 40 and (220) Denver. I added a total of 900 to the plus column. Not a bad purse to go into tomorrow and Sunday with on top of the 750 I already had "in the bank" with my book.

So again, I thought I would post it, and if you like what you see and would like to be the beneficiary of this almost daily ritual I go through, I'd be happy to share it with you all. Have a look and let me know if it's worth my time post. I will do or not do this based on your responses. Either way you slice it, I wish you all the best of luck this weekend. Kick your books ass... after all; he's hoping to do the same to us all.

Excel being a funky little Office tool to play with, I hope it comes across as it presents before I press 'post'. If not, I'll re-post in a way that I hope would then be more legible for you all.

Note, assuming it comes across in color and bold, those noted in red lost, those noted in bold won. Those not yet noted are still in play. In case it doesn't post this way, I've also put winners in italics, losers will not appear as such. Again, who knows how this will read... if nothing else, I gotta get a little respect for trying, right?

AMMENDMENT - as i tried posting it i noticed that it wasn't going to work. That the excel sheet wasn't going to pull through the detail that I an input. So because in this instance, because the nites action has run its course, I simply separated the winners from losers and applied bold the winners and red to losers. This works in this case for the sake of general example purposes, however for the sake of exchanging this information in the future it will not. Therefore, if you are interested in seeing my spread sheet, which is normally separated by time of game, simply send me your email address at [email protected] and I will share this with each of you as my days information is amassed.

SECOND AMMENTMENT - because when i was trying to put it into color, bold, or italics, the notation i saw next to the item was odd enough that it prevented me from wanting to try it do it as i was instructing i would. i'm sure it would have worked, but it would have been a huge pain in the ass if i didn't work and came out looking all fucked up. Instead, I sorted the winners from losers and noted as such with the obvious. So bottom line is, they're normally sorted by game time, then alpa. I think you all get the gist. If I can confidently figure out how to post this on the form with ease, I gladly will. Otherwise, shoot me an email at the address given earlier and I'll share with you all the original spread sheet, which now looking at the one below, looks nothing like this one 🙂 though I think you all get the idea and hopefully see its potential value.

PS – because I’ve taken this time, my valued personal time, I’ve managed to freeze by Jubeleale in the freezer, which was nearly frozen enough to break the glass, and then I would have had REAL a problem on my hands. I hope you all can true appreciate the sacrifice I’ve made in hopes of making you all a little more money this year!

I'm going to enjoy my beer and watch sportscenter now!

With love,
FreashOutaRehab (AKA PickWiz)

Now I understand where you came up with your sign in name. j/k Maybe just post your winning picks and we can all cash in. We all work hard on handicapping for hours in several different ways. If I understand your pick correctly, you are taking a tout consensous for the best pick of the day? I have done a little bit of tracking myself on all these picks. The #1 most pick of all touts is hitting 50/50. Although I have narrowed it down to the best cappers per sport and that #1 pick is hitting around 57%. Here is a best of their sport list to follow for this season only.

NFL
Chris James
Wayne Root
Bob Akem
Jefferson Sports
Sixth Sense
Pacific Star

NCAA Football and NFL
Nathan Armstrong
Gameday <His record for both football is 107-80 that I have tracked
Seabass
3G
Big Al
Maddux Sports

NCAA Football
LT Profits
Tommy Rider
Vegas Runner
Allen Eastman
Eddie Roman
NSA

NBA
Nick Bogdanovich
Paul Leiner
Erin Rynning
Ben Burns
ATS Lock

NHL
Rocketman
Vegas Steam
DOC
Iceman
Seabass

NHL and NBA
Ron Raymond

All of these touts are hitting over 55% in their sport since I have been following on the second week of college football. I'm sure there are some other good cappers out there, but these are all the most consistent ones that get posted here from Blade.

Good luck and thanks for the hard work!!
