The Houston Chronicle reports the Texans will sign Green to a four-year contract worth $23 million, including $6.5 million in guaranteed money.
The 30-year-old Green has spent the last seven seasons with the Green Bay Packers and last year rushed for 1,059 yards and five touchdowns. He also caught 46 passes for 373 yards and a score.

Green, who was drafted by Seattle in the first round of the 1998 draft, will be reunited with Houston offensive coordinator Mike Sherman, who was the head coach of the Packers for five seasons.
Green will join a backfield that includes running backs Wali Lundy, Chris Taylor and Samkon Gado.
The Texans have no where to go but up.
