Drew Gordon

500,000♦ Tulsa

Tulsa- Before the Oklahoma debacle, Tulsa was 2-0 and averaging 45 points per game in two impressive blowout wins. After getting routed 62-21 by the Sooners, someone has to pay the price, and that someone is Alabama-Birmingham

The fact of the matter is we should be thankful that UAB had extra preparation time and is coming off a 22-0 win over Alcorn State. Why? Because it adds false value to this otherwise massive mismatch! With only 67 players, the Blazers are overmatched at almost every position, but none bigger than quarterback, where Paul Smith is going to have a field day against this below average Blazers defense.

Listen guys, this is the Golden Hurricane's conference USA opener, and you better believe they'll be ready. The Blazers on the other hand, are 1-8 over their last 9 games, including 2-5 ATS over that span. They're clearly in major rebuilding mode, and nothing makes that more evident that their piss-poor QB play, as Sam Hunt and his 50% completion rate and 3 TD/2 INT ratio just aren't getting it done

Bottom line, look for the Golden Hurricane's and their ultra-quick hurry-up offense to throw the overmatched UAB defense for a loop. While on the other side of the ball, the sputtering Blazers offense does next to nothing on the road. Paul Smith marches this Tulsa offense up and down the field en route to an easy Tulsa home win and cover, not to mention a nice payday!

Take Tulsa at home BIG over Alabama-Birmingham as your top-rated play of the day.

"Blank Check Winner"

10,000 DIME BLANK CHECK
GAME OF MY CAREER #2 IN A ROW

Florida State Seminoles -1.5 over Alabama

A neutral-site game today in Jacksonville between Alabama and FSU and we find an un-ranked Seminole team favored over #22 ranked Alabama and believe me when I tell you, there is a reason.

The key in this game is whether or not FSU can stop Terry Grant, the starting tailback for the Tide and I believe they can.

Grant is second in the conference with 120.8 rushing yards per game. FSU's run defense is stout, and will need to be on its game if it is to stop Grant.

Florida State is coming off a bye week, which means they are well rested.

Alabama is coming off an emotional loss to Georgia last week, a game that went to OT and featured lots of twists and turns.

Expect this one to be close, but go the way of the Seminoles by a touchdown.
