**EVANSVILLE (-6) over Buffalo
Both of these teams return all 5 starters from last year’s team, but Buffalo’s top returning player Andy Robinson is serving a suspension and hasn’t played this season (and won’t play tonight). Evansville qualifies in a very good 131-61-3 ATS early season situation in addition to a couple of other pretty good angles. My ratings favor Evansville by 5 ½ points, so the line is fair, and I’ll take Evansville in a 2-Star Best Bet at -6 points or less.

UC RIVERSIDE (-2) over Northern Arizona
UC Riverside is improved this season and the Highlanders apply to a very strong 90-26-1 ATS early season indicator while Northern Arizona applies to a negative 34-95-2 ATS situation. Unfortunately, my ratings favor Northern Arizona by 1 point in this game and I’m not going to give up the line value to force a Best Bet. I will still lean with UC Riverside based on the strong situations and I’d take UC Riverside in a 2-Star Best Bet if they become an underdog.
