Game: Cleveland State at West Virginia
Prediction: West Virginia

Ai Simulator 5* graded play on West Virginia (CBB) - AiS shows an 82% probability that WVU will win this game by 15 or more points. Just too much fire power from WVU for Cleveland State to handle defensively. AiS shows an 87% probability that WVU will score at least 75 points in this game. Note that CS is just 8-21 ATS (-15.1 Units) in road games when they allow 75 to 80 points in a game since 1997. 19-5 ATS (+13.5 Units) when they make 47% to 53% of their shots in a game over the last 3 seasons. AiS shows an 85% probability that they will hit this range in this game. Take WVU.

Army +11 over Navy
Could this be the year that Army finally beats Navy? I think Navy has won the last 12 games, but this year Army has a decent running game and has played good defense at times. The bottom line here is that 9 out of 10 bettors are on Navy. Look for a low scoring quick moving game with both teams running the ball. Look for Army to cover and have a shot at a win.

Washington +35.5 over Cal
Cal has already accepted their bid to the Emerald Bowl and what would be the point to crush this pathetic Washington team? This will be Tyrone Willingham's last game as the head coach and his players will do their best to send him out with some decency. Cal is 6-0 at home facing a 0-11 team and their is no shot that the Huskies win, but Cal should play pretty vanilla just to stay healthy for the Emerald Bowl. Take Washington.

Tulsa -12 over East Carolina
Tulsa will be looking to win the C-USA Title on their home field today and this offense is nothing short of spectacular. East Carolina had their trouble moving the ball this season at times and if this team gets down early this will be a blowout. This game reminds me a lot of when ECU played Houston a few weeks ago. Houston moved the ball up and down the field and I believe Tulsa will do the same. This team is going to put up points and I don't think ECU can match them. Take Tulsa.

Florida -10 over Alabama
The #1 team in the land is a ten point underdog. I have never seen anything like it. Florida might even be without their best playmaker in Percy Harvin and still now line movement. Alabama has been perfect all season yet why no respect? In my opinion Florida is the best team in the nation right now and if they win this game they should play for the national title. This game is indoors and the Florida athletic ability will shine. There is a reason why this line is set so high. Look for Tebow to power the Gators to a title game. Take Florida.

Missouri +17 over Oklahoma
All the talk is on Oklahoma being the greatest offense of all time. This team is awesome, but it took a computer to get them into this game so I don't think they should be favored this high. Missouri's QB Chase Daniels completes 75% of his passes. How can he lose by 17 points if he can even get close to his average tonight. The Sooners were a 17pt favorite 5 years ago to KState and they loss outright. I think the Sooners are the better team, but 17 points is a lot. This Sooners offense is on a roll going against a bad Missouri defense. Oklahoma is having just as much trouble with their defensive unit. I would not be shocked to see this game go to the wire and for it to be a lot lower of a score then some predict. Take Missouri.

1-Unit Play. Take #723 Georgia (+8.5) over Illinois (Noon, Saturday, Dec. 6)
This is too many points for the Illini to be laying in this spot. Georgia isn't any good, but they are athletic enough to at least play with their Big 10 counterparts. Illinois doesn't really blow people out, and are more likely to be involved in a 4- or 6-point game than they are to just step on the court and lay a 10- or 12-point beating on a team of equal physical talent. This game is an early start and Illinois is coming off a tough loss to Clemson. I just wonder if the energy will be there early and I can see the Bulldogs just kind of hanging around or scumming out another cover like they did against Western Kentucky.

3.5-Unit Play. Take #738 Providence (-3.5) over Rhode Island (2 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 6)
The Friars have revenge in this game after getting hammered last year at Rhode Island. These regional rivalry games are tricky, and normally the dog is a great call. But I get the sense that the public is actually riding the Rams in this one. Providence's two losses were definitely to respectable competition, so I really haven't seen anything from them to think that they are as shaky as they have been in the past. They shoot better at home, and just will play better on their own court in general. They have too many athletes for a pretty young Rhode Island team and should dominate the boards. That's huge, because PU isn't really a big, physical team. They are familiar with Jimmy Baron's work and should be able to slow him down. The Friars are going to get up big early. It's just a matter if they can avoid a late letdown.

3-Unit Play. Take #821 Baylor (+2.5) over Washington State (11:30 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 6)
The Bears played the Cougars tight last year and are a far superior squad this time around. The Bears have the size on the interior to slow down Aron Baynes, who is really a glorified backup, and they have the speed on the perimeter to run right by the slower Cougars. I like Wazzou. It's a nice little program. But they bottom line is that they are not a very good team and they would have to play well, well beyond themselves to win this game. The points will hold up as our side wins this one outright.

2-Unit Play. Take #759 Miami (+2.5) over Kentucky (5:30 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 6)
If I wasn't so worried about Miami's mental health after that weird loss to Ohio State this bet might be doubled. The Hurricanes are legit, and I have seen nothing from Kentucky to think that they should be laying points out to a strong team from a BCS conference. Jack McClinton will be on a mission, after having to leave Tuesday's game early. Remember: if Jack didn't get booted then Miami would have beaten the Buckeyes by 15, easy. I see a bounceback game for the Canes and another big win for this up-and-coming club.

2.5-Unit Play. Take #819 UNLV (-1.5) over Nevada (10:30 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 6)
UNLV has already beaten San Diego and won on the home court of UTEP, which is tougher to do than you'd think. Nevada has not impressed me this season and they were absolutely wet at Colorado State earlier this week. I mean, everything they were throwing up went in. I don't see a repeat performance, and I look for a really grizzled UNLV club to maintain its dominance in the region over an up-and-down Wolfpack. The Rebels beat Nevada last year around this time, and that was twice the Pack team that they are fielding this year.

2.5-Unit Play. Take #769 Dayton (-1.5) over Akron (7 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 6)
Akron is a great, great team at home. That is for certain. But they are going to get run today. The Flyers are legit, and are picking up where they left off last year - before injuries derailed their season in conference play. This short number is a gift, and it should be around 4.0 or 5.5, which would have given me pause in a rivalry game. Akron lost a TON of talent from last year's club, and Dayton managed to beat them last year. They're going to double down and hold off a late Zips rush.

2.5-Unit Play. Take #752 Notre Dame (-4) over Ohio State (4 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 6)
If I knew for sure that Luke Harangody was playing, then this wager would be TRIPLED. However, right now I only think he's going to be playing. He is coming off a bout of pneumonia and Mike Brey has said he wants to be careful with him. However, Harangody has been practicing the last three days. How much of a stretch is playing with pneumonia and practicing with pneumonia? The bottom line is that the Irish are a godless killing machine at home, and they should earn a big 'W' with or without him. Ohio State was lucky to win at Miami. I don't think their luck is that good where they are going to avoid Big Luke and get a win in South Bend today.

2-Unit Play. Take #807 Colorado State (+1.5) over Boise State (9 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 6)
The crux of this play is on the relative strength of the two conferences. The Mountain West is twice the conference that the WAC is right now, and I think that Colorado State is better than it has played. Boise State is really a team that is still finding its way after the loss of four senior starters. They have some nice size underneath, but this is by no means as strong of a team as they have been fielding. Also, besides getting rocked by Siena, Boise State hasn't shown me much as far as beating quality opponents.

2-Unit Play. Take #851 Air Force (+3.5) over Northern Colorado (9 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 6)
Hey, getting over a field goal in this game is like getting 10 points in a normal game. The fact that both teams run the Princeton offense actually works in Air Force's favor. Not just because they are the ones getting the points, but because they have been running it longer and sharper than NC. This is going to be a tricky one for the Falcons, but they have actually been dominating these smaller regional teams over the past several years. I think they win this one outright in a game played in the 50's.

2-Unit Play. Take #829 College of Charleston (-8) over UNC-Greensboro (3 p.m., Sat., Dec. 6)
This COC team is really, really good. And they are now lining up to get a crack at a Greensboro team that just lot by nearly this margin to Citadel. Yeah, Charleston is better than The Citadel. I think this one gets ugly, and I think that Charleston keeps it rolling. The Cougars have beaten better teams than this by greater margins than this. They will play well today.

2-Unit Play. Take #847 Tennessee State (+1) over SE Missouri St. (8:30 p.m., Sat., Dec. 6)
Had Bruce Price come back, TSU would really be a sleeper team in the OVC. But even without them this club isn't devoid of talent, and I'm looking for a solid game out of Gerald Robinson today. I actually like this play much more than the rating, but we're betting into a bad trend. The home team has won 10 straight in this series and TSU is just 1-7 ATS in this series. That said, we are backing the much better team here, and this line is simply based on those historic trends rather than today's matchup. We'll worry about today.

1.5-Unit Play. Take #816 San Diego State (-4.5) over San Diego (10 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 6)
This is a play that is kind of in line with my pick on Dayton, Providence, Air Force, and UNLV - we are catching the better program, the team with more talent, on a short number against a regional rival. SDSU has a lot of talent. They just haven't played well lately. But they are coming off an ugly game earlier this week, and I like to get on teams like this that I think will bounce back. San Diego has been kind of up-and-down to start the year. The bottom line is that they aren't executing like they were at the end of last year, and they just aren't making shots. SDSU is going to lock down on defense on their own turf and they are going to get out and get easy buckets in transition. I think they pull away late and hold on for a 7-point win.

1-Unit Play. Take #850 Idaho State (+12.5) over Utah (9 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 6)
The Utes absolutely went off on Oregon at home earlier in the week, while Idaho State was embarrassing in a blowout loss to Washington State. But I see a regression on both sides today and this is simply too many points. I like the size that ISU brings to the table, and their outburst against a weak Oregon defense notwithstanding, this isn't a Utah team that scores a load of points. This is just a tricky game for the Utes, and I think Idaho State will play much better than it has before losing an 8- or 9-point decision.

I also have strong leans on Temple (+6.5), Florida International (+11.5), BYU (-6), Wisconsin-Milwaukee (-5.5), Georgia State (+1), Bowling Green (+11), Oregon State (+10), South Florida (-1), Detroit (+11.5), Loyola-Chicago (+10.5), UAB (+3) and Drexel (+5.5). Those are all games I will personally be betting and I think that is nearly as strong of a card as the plays I did release! Good luck.
