Tom Freese
Game: Kansas at Texas A&M Oct 27 2007 7:00PM
Prediction: Kansas
Reason: Kansas is a 3 point favorite at Texas A&M. Some may think that the Jayhawks are in a role they can't handle. This Kansas team has allowed 14 or less points in all but one game this year and they are a perfect 6-0 ATS in their 6 lined games. The Jayhawks have out gained their opponents by 1735 yards this year. They are 9-2 ATS when they score 28 or more points and they are 11-3 ATS their last 14 games as favorites. Texas A&M is 0-5 ATS off a win by over 20 points in their last game. The Aggies are 0-4 ATS after allowing less than 20 points in their last game. Play On KANSAS

FairWay Jay

South Carolina +3.0

Sat Oct 27 '07 7:45p

Both teams off embarrassing losses last week, but expect the better defense of the ‘Cocks to do most the ‘banging’ in this contest. South Carolina sports the no. 2 scoring defense in the SEC and the no. 1 pass defense to slow Vols QB Ainge and the solid Tennessee pass attack. On the other side, Tennessee has the leagues worst scoring defense allowing over 32 ppg. The Vols are also dead last in defensive yards-per-play (5.9) while allowing 406 ypg. The defensive front has been unable to generate enough pressure on opposing QB’s and has the leagues fewest sacks, which should allow SC quarterback Smelley to bounce back from his poor performance last week. Tennessee allows a league-worst 7.4 yards-per-pass and 249 ypg through the air after getting torched by Alabama’s passing attack last week. Expect Fullmer to ‘fade’ and Spurrier to ‘surge’ in this ‘bounce back’ battle. Tennessee is on a 1-10 ATS run as conference home favorite while South Carolina’s Spurrier ‘swings’ a big ‘stick’ as traveler, now on a 9-1 ATS road run.
