Did anyone see the ending to this one? Well, LT did a lateral an obvious backwards pass that led to a fumble and a Palamalu TD in the final seconds. They called it a TD. Out of the blue, there was a review and even though it was an obvious backwards lateral, they ruled it as an illegal forward pass to negate the TD. This was the most fishy and obvious rigged ending to a game I have ever seen. Note that the score was 11-10, this is the first EVER 11-10 score in the history of the NFL. Could it have had something to do with it? And yes, I had the Steelers -5 😡

I was already pissed about Philly, and felt like i got bent over on the Steelers, The call had no bearing on the outcome, so why they would take the points back off , or even review the damn play anyway. The game was over. But to have two penalties negate two touchdowns in the final 30 seconds does seem like some one in the booth, or maybe a ref had some interest in the game.

I just called the NFL front office in NY, dialed Roger Goodell's name in and got a message....it said "Hello, thanks for calling the NFL, I cannot come to the phone right now, I'm flying to Vegas to cash my ticket on the Chargers."

Hey Old Blue! Bluuueeee.. ;D Sorry, had to do it. Old School is one of my favorite movies of all time I must say.

So, which TD are you referring to? The Parker TD with .04 seconds left that was called back for a tick-tack hold? Or, the Palamalu TD with 0.00 seconds left that was miraculously reviewed, then overturned? Either way, we royally got bent over, pissed on, shit on, and then back-doored without any remorse! Your right, I have been doing this a very long time and have never seen anything this hideous - ever!

Reminds me of the TxTech/Texas game which hit the total on the last play of the game. On that one, I was lucky. On this one, the books made out.

Still a great day for me. 12-4 with the Pitt loss.

This has been a bad year for blown calls. They are gonna have to take a serious look at this type of stuff in the offseason

Posts: 9,586 Sirius radios tim brando calls out the nfl!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

He just called the league out on the end of the Steelers game yesterday. Very well said and objective analysis. Hopefully some of you heard it.
As for Brian "Ball-less" Baldinger, he refused to say much at all.

Basically what Brando said was that the NFL has created a huge problem for itself (and he works for the NFL). He noted the spread and game occurences, particularly the final play. He said over $100 million changed hands because of that call.

He said it stunk and looked fishy in so may words.

He also noted that the game was CBS' main game yesterday so millions saw it, and then CBS also switched over to it for the last 10 seconds so the rest of their viewers could watch after the Tenn/Jax game went final.
Plus, a lot more people were tuned in to see Barrack Obama who was coming up next on 60 minutes.

He also ripped CBS, for the way they quickly rushed off the air without giving a clear explanation or showing what happened. The last thing you saw was the ref signaling a TD for the play standing, then they went off the air and you saw 11-10 and thye said call reversed.

Big props to Mr. Brando for having the courage to address this nonsense. Too bad Chris Berman is a shill.

It really amaises me, that with all this camera equipment, no telling what they pay for that, does not support the correct outcome. They just robbed a lot of people in plain sight, I've seen many a game that was questionable, but this was obvious, and I am sure if the NFL dug a little deeper, and to everyone that had a control in the outcome, that some one is dirty. If it can happen in the NBA, you can bet it's happening in the NFL. The NFL has no control over the Refs, other than keeping them from the playoffs. They did not do a background check on these guys, and they don't check to see if their accounts have an extra ten or twenty thousand in them. I am surprised Pittsburgh is not pushing for the score difference. It is part of the tie breaker if they need it. Now wouldn't it be ironic, after the end of the season, that they needed these points. It doesn't look like it right now, but 6 weeks can change a lot of records. Hopefully Goodell will get to the bottom of this. But I doubt it.
