2013 Sunday Night Football Week 5 Texans vs. 49ers Picks & Predictions
By Anthony Rome

SAN FRANCISCO, CA (ATS Consultants) - Will the 49ers rout the Texans on Sunday Night Football tonight or will Houston rebound from its debacle versus Seattle last week?

NFL Odds: According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the 49ers are 6-point favorites over the Texans, while the over/under total is currently sitting at 41.5 points. Houston is 2-2 overall and 1-1 on the road, while San Francisco is 2-2 overall and 1-1 at home.

NFL LINEMOVEMENT: The 49ers opened as 4.5-point favorites but the spread has been bet up to 6 at most online and Vegas sports books. The total, meanwhile, opened at 42.5 and has been bet down to 41.5 points.

NFL PUBLIC BETTING: Of the bets that have been placed on this game, 52% currently favor San Francisco. This information is subject to change, however, so make sure to click on the link for the latest public betting figures.

NFL FREE PICK: Take Houston. According to latest NFL trends, the Texans are 10-4-2 against the spread in their last 16 games after accumulating more than 150 yards rushing in their previous game. The Niners, meanwhile, are 5-13-2 against the number in their last 20 games following a straight up win of more than 14 points. Had Houston hung on to beat Seattle last week it's highly doubtful that this line would be more than 4 points. Instead, the Texans blew the game in the fourth quarter and now they're nearly a touchdown underdog versus a Niners team that lost two weeks ago to Indianapolis at home? Houston is a value - take the dog.
