Victorious Plays

Baltimore @ Cleveland

Here is a game where everything will point for the Under. Two very poor teams facing each other today but that is something that we have to take in consideration because offensively they are not the worst teams in the league but defensively both of them are quite poor. Today our system says that the game will go for the Over. Recommendation: 1* Over 36.5 @ -110

Tampa Bay @ Kansas City

Tampa Bay today will have another great chance to improve their offensive record after started the season in great shape with the help of two great QB, Garcia and Griese. On the other side, playing at home, is a team that struggles a lot to score but at the same time they also struggle to keep the opponent away from scoring. Our question before placing a play on this game might be: which Kansas will we expect today? Kansas that didn’t score in Carolina or Kansas that scored 33 against Denver? According to our system we can expect Kansas to give their positive contribute to our play. Go with the Over on this one. Recommendation: 2* Over 36.5 @ -110

Houston @ Minnesota

Here is a game with an exactly opposite mindset compared to our recommendation on Cleveland’s game. Everyone will be on the Over on this one and that made the line to go up from 45.5 to 47 and that is a clear error according to our system. Both teams are currently on a great offensive shape but if you check their opponents in their last three games you will see that all their opponents are some of the worst defensive teams. On the other hand, Houston away from home is a team that finds it very hard to score, just like Minnesota at home. For today’s game and according to our system, the line is set a little higher and therefore we will go for the Under. Recommendation: 2* Under 47 @ -110

Cleveland -1.5

Cleveland-Baltimore Over 36.5

Green Bay +4.5

Good spot for Cleveland. I talked about character last week and Cleveland delivered an outright upset vs the Jags. At 3-4 this is a huge game for them. Their character is not a question mark and they believe they can still save their season. Remember, this is a team with high expectations coming into 2008. I'll back the Brown at home laying the small number vs a Baltimore team that's very banged up on D and not nearly as desperate. Take Cleveland -1.5 for a 4* Regular play.

Really great set-up. Green Bay had 2 solid wins before their bye to get back to 4-3. Teams in this type of situation tend to come out of their byes focused and recharged. Tennessee has a solid team and advantages in the running game but played a HUGE game last week to take control of their division. I can't imagine a bigger letdown situation for this team and sitting 7-0 vs a non-conference opponent it's not realistic to expect them to be at their best. I'll take a good team catching more than 4 in this situation. Take Green Bay +4.5 for a 4* Regular play.

Small total and our edge is 2 offenses that have been playing better and defensive injuries to Baltimore that should leave them very vulnerable the pass. Browns Jamal Lewis also tends to be quite effective vs his former team on the ground. Their meeting this season and both last season saw 38+ points scored and remember 37 is one of the KEY numbers when betting NFL totals. Weather looks very good and I expect to see 38+ scored again. Play Over 36.5 for a 3* Regular play.
