Jax QB Garrard had little time to check off and as a result was sacked 7 times in the first game. As I said the the OL is much better and Grrard will have a new weapon to throw to in TE Marcedes Lewis. The running game will set-up the play action pass and here Garrard will have two options. First, he can look for Porter on a seam or crossing route and also being looking for Williamson, who has superior run after the catch capability. Having these three options too for ball control pass routes involving a 3-step drop will minimize the Tennessee pass rush. No doubt you will see a very physical defensive scheme with players swarming to the ball. John Henderson anchors the middle and will allow the LB corp to pursue aggressively to the perimeter. The Titans ran for 170 yards in the first meeting and the AiS shows an 80% probability that they will have less than 100 in this game. Jax coners will be in the face of the Titan WR and that to will disrupt the timing of pass plays. one matchup to watch in the beginning of the game also gets back to the success of the Jax running game. if we see Center Brad Meester holding his own and not allowing Haynesworth any significant penetration the Jax running game will be quite successful - especially when no double team is involved. Take Jacksonville.
