Super Bowl XLIV Odds: Bet On Carrie Underwoods National Anthem Time
As most bettors know, there’s a wager on almost anything for the Super Bowl. Find out the odds for how long Carrie Underwood will sing the National Anthem in Super Bowl XLIV.
Oddsmakers from online sports book Sports Interaction have made the odds for how long it will take Carrie Underwood to sing the National Anthem at –105 for over one minute and 42 seconds, and –125 for under one minute and 42 seconds.
In last year’s Super Bowl between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Arizona Cardinals, Jennifer Hudson cleared two minutes to sing the National Anthem. And two years ago, Jordin Sparks sang the National Anthem in one minute, 55 seconds.
It’s tough to say whether or not Underwood would approach the time it took Hudson to sing the National Anthem, but given that Carrie’s odds are –125 for under one minute and 42 seconds, the smart money might be on that. Of course, with it going over the one minute, 42 second mark in each of the last two years, there’s some value in the over –105.
