SUPER MEGABUCKS - STEELERS

This years Super Bowl in Dallas looks to me to be a contest that pits two clubs that are about even in every category. If you are looking to give one side or the other the edge you will find a counter-point that offsets your argument almost everywhere, so I won't both with stats or numbers that support either side. What I will say is what bothers me, first Green Bay is a #6 seed and they are favored and that doesn't bode well for #2 seeded Pittsburgh as recent history his shown. It appears that the Packers are America's team for this event and I just see 'big game' experience as being the difference.

Steelers +2.5

At days end, the Steelers organization and team and coaches are built to win championships. It is not always pretty, it is not always a blowout, but the Steelers win games when other teams fail, and they thrive under pressure. Big Ben at QB is EXPERIENCED in Super Bowls and big games, and so are most of his playmakers, and that is an intangible that cannot be overlooked. Green Bay is a 6 seeded team and had to beat all teams on the road and play a brutal schedule down the stretch to get in here, but Atlanta was overrated all year, and the Bears without Cutler for a half was a layup and even then a third string QB came into that game and had huge success considering he never played a game all year. That is a dead giveaway. Green Bay is a very good team, but Pittsburgh is a great team. Better defense, better running game, better overall QB. Green Bays LACK of running game is going to be a KEY in this game, and even if they had Ahman Green rise from the ashes, he could not even run against the Steelers. Pitt is poised, experienced and well coached and have the better team. Better RB, more experience and a Super Bowl Veteran QB with 2 wins, and better defense. Adds up to a Steelers win boys. No stats and ATS trends, just the facts. Play 1 to 1.5 Units on Pittsburgh to win by 6. Same Game Teaser – 2 team 6 point Tease – Tease Pittsburgh to +8.5 and Tease the Total DOWN to 38 and take the OVER

PROP BETS ON MONEYLINE – Half to 1 Unit each

TOTAL SACKS BY BOTH TEAMS OVER 5 Sacks -115

Will Heath Miller score a TD in this game? YES +170

Aaron Rodgers UNDER 275.5 yards passing -105

5* GB Packers

We are going with GB in the big game. We were all over Rodgers in the first 2 games before taking a chance on a good D with the Bears. While Rodgers won the game he didn't look all that sharp. But I think that game will benefit him for tomorrow, facing another solid D and having been tested. It might be impossible to run on Pitt, but you can pass on them, and thats GB strength. Also, why is the 6 seed favored?? I know they are hot, but I think you have to look at the total season. I also think GB's D has really come on in the 2nd half of the season. I just think its GB's year. 5* GREEN BAY. If you are interested in props, check back tomorrow by 4pm eastern and I will post some in this write-up. For all the regulars and new guys who jumped on since the beginning of Sept I just wanted to say thanks. While it was a winning NFL season, I don't feel I lived up to my potential. I expect perfection when it comes to the NFL, and most people would jump up and down just to have a winning season, even if its a $1, I expect to bury the man EVERY week! (Not every, but almost every). I'm going to have a chip on my shoulder come Sept (if they play), so I hope to have all of you back next year. Thanks again. Props - YES 3 Unanswered scores -140 Over 5 sacks -165 Over 3 FG's Over GB Pass completions 24 Over Rodgers pass yards 274.5
