NFL Week 15 Betting Odds: Texans vs. Rams Trends, Preview & Prediction

The Houston Texans find themselves massive road favorites for the first time in franchise history, as they’ll take on the St. Louis Rams at 1:00PM ET on Sunday.

Bet NFL Week 15

The Texans defeated the Seahawks 34-7 as a 7-point favorite in Week 14, while the combined score went under the posted total of 45 points. Matt Schaub threw for 365 yards with two touchdowns and an interception for Houston, while Andre Johnson caught 11 passes for 193 yards and two scores.

The Rams lost to the Titans 47-7 as a 14-point underdog in Week 14, while the combined score went over the posted total of 40 points. Keith Null threw for 157 yards with a touchdown for St. Louis, while running back Steven Jackson rushed for 47 yards on 19 carries.

Oddsmakers from online sports book SBGGLOBAL.com have made the Texans a 14-point favorites over the Rams in Week 15. The over/under total for Sunday’s game has been set at 43.5 points.

The Texans are 7-3 against the spread in their last 10 games on the road, while the Rams are 5-11 against the number in their last 16 games at home. The total has gone under in five of Houston’s last five games on the road.

It’s dangerous to assume that the same result will happen in back to back weeks in the NFL, but we’ll roll the dice and bet that the Rams get crushed again this week. The Texans are the far superior team and with the quarterback situation in dire straits for St. Louis, we think Houston will easily cover the 13-point spread. Plus, Jackson, the Rams’ only playmaker, is banged up and will be severely limited (if he even plays).

Our free pick prediction for this game is the Texans –14 and the under 43.5. We think Houston will score plenty, but St. Louis’ offense will once again struggle to move the ball and the total should fall short.

Our NFL Week 15 Free Pick for this matchup is: HOUSTON TEXANS -14 and UNDER 43.5.

Texans vs. Rams Current Odds

322 St. Louis Rams +14 Under 43.5

Browns vs. Chiefs in NFL Week 15 – Who Do the Experts Pick

Two teams with nothing on the line but pride will square off at Arrowhead Stadium in Week 15 when the Kansas City Chiefs host the Cleveland Browns at 1:00PM ET on Sunday.

Bet NFL Week 15

The Browns beat the Steelers 13-6 as a 9.5-point underdog in Week 14, while the combined score went under the posted total of 34.5 points. Chris Jennings ran for the only touchdown in the game, and Cleveland’s defense shut down Pittsburgh’s offense.

The Chiefs lost to the Bills 16-10 as a 2.5-point underdog in Week 14, while the combined score fell under the posted total of 38 points. Matt Cassel passed for 224 yards with four interceptions for KC, while Jamaal Charles rushed for 143 yards and a touchdown on 20 carries.

Oddsmakers from online sports book SPORTSBETTING.com have made the Chiefs 2-point favorites over the Browns in Week 15. The over/under total for Sunday’s game has been set at 37 points.

The Browns are 4-1 against the spread in their last five games and 4-1 ATS in their last five games on the road. The Chiefs are just 5-10 ATS in their last 15 games and 2-6 against the number in their last eight games at home.

These two teams have nothing to play for and usually, the home team presents the most value in these types of games. But Cleveland has looked like a different team the past couple weeks and Brady Quinn is playing with more confidence than he ever has at any point in his career.

Kansas City’s defense has been brutal this season and Quinn might be able to continue on the hot streak that he’s currently on. Charles presents a problem for Cleveland’s defense, but Eric Mangini’s squad has actually played fairly well on that side of the ball of late, so the Browns should be able to somewhat contain him.

Our free pick prediction for this game is the Browns +2 and the under 37. Neither of these teams can score and outside of Charles and Josh Cribbs, neither has playmakers. Expect a dull, boring game, but also a Cleveland cover. (It would be advised to take Cleveland on the moneyline in this situation given how low the point spread is.)

Our NFL Week 15 Free Pick for this matchup is: CLEVELAND BROWNS +2 and UNDER 37.

Browns vs. Chiefs Current Odds

NFL Week 15 Prediction: Cardinals vs. Lions – Who Do The Experts Pick

The Arizona Cardinals look to get back on the right track in Week 15 when they take on the lowly Detroit Lions at 1:00PM ET this Sunday.

Bet NFL Week 15

The Cardinals lost to the 49ers 24-9 on Monday night as a 4-point favorite. Beanie Wells rushed for 79 yards on 15 attempts, as the combined score went under the posted total of 44.5 points. Arizona turned the ball over a whopping seven times in the loss.

The Lions lost to the Ravens 48-3 as a 14-point underdog in Week 15, as the combined score went over the posted total of 40.5 points. Daunte Culpepper threw for 135 yards with two interceptions in the loss, while Kevin Smith rushed for 69 yards on 21 carries.

Oddsmakers from online sports book Sports Interaction have made the Cardinals 14-point favorites over the Lions in Week 15. The over/under total for this game has been set at 47 points.

The Cardinals are 13-5 against the spread in their last 18 games and 6-2 ATS in their last eight games on the road. They’re also 7-3 against the number in their last 10 games when playing Detroit, while the Lions are just 1-6-1 ATS in their last eight games. Detroit is also 3-12 ATS in its last 15 games at home.

Usually we see a ton of value in taking a home team that’s getting so many points, but considering Arizona is coming off a brutal loss on Monday night football, we wouldn’t bet against the Cardinals. They should be more focused this week than they were in San Francisco and won’t take the Lions for granted.

Arizona need just one more win to claim the NFC West title and we think the Cards will get it this weekend in what should be a cakewalk for them. Detroit just doesn’t have the players to slow down Kurt Warner and the Cards’ potent passing game, and it proved last week that it has given up on the season.

Eat the chalk and take the Cardinals –14 in this game. The total should also go over the number as Warner and company light up the scoreboard.

Our NFL Week 15 Free Pick for this matchup is: ARIZONA CARDINALS -14 and OVER 47.

312 Detroit Lions +14 Under 47

NFL Free Pick: Patriots Road Favorites Over Bills in Week 15

AFC East rivals clash in Week 15 when the Buffalo Bills host the New England Patriots at 12:00PM ET on Sunday.

Bet NFL Week 15

The Patriots beat the Panthers 20-10, but failed to cover the 12.5-point spread. The combined score fell under the posted total of 43.5 points as Tom Brady threw for 192 yards with a touchdown and an interception in the win. Wes Welker added 10 receptions for 105 yards for New England.

The Bills beat the Chiefs 16-10 as a 2.5-point favorite last Sunday, while the combined score went under the posted total of 38 points. Fred Jackson rushed for 99 yards on 20 carries in the win, while Ryan Fitzpatrick threw for only 86 yards with a touchdown and a pick.

Oddsmakers from online sports book SPORTSBETTING.com have made the Patriots 7-point favorites over the Bills in Week 15. The over/under total for this game has been set at 41 points.

The Bills are just 1-5 against the spread in their last six games when playing New England and 2-9 ATS in their last 11 games at home. The Patriots have much better trend numbers, as they’re 5-1 against the spread in their last six games when playing Buffalo and 5-0 ATS in their last five games when playing the Bills on the road.

But despite those numbers, the Patriots have been brutal on the road this season. In their last three road games, they’re 0-3 against the spread and 0-3 straight up. For whatever reason, this New England team just hasn’t gotten done on the road.

Our free pick prediction for this game is the Bills +7. The Pats are the superior team, but there’s a ton of value in a home team getting seven points, especially when their opponent has struggled as much as New England has. We also favor the under in this matchup, which has covered in 8 of New England’s last 11 games when playing on the road against Buffalo.

Our NFL Week 15 Free Pick for this matchup is: BUFFALO BILLS +7 and OVER 41.

Patriots vs. Bills Current Odds

309 New England Patriots –7 (-340 moneyline) Over 41
310 Buffalo Bills +7 (+270 moneyline) Under 41

49ers vs. Eagles NFL Week 15 Preview, Prediction, Matchup & Odds

Two NFC playoff hopefuls will square off at Lincoln Financial Field in Week 15 when the Philadelphia Eagles host the San Francisco 49ers at 1:00PM ET on Sunday.

Bet NFL Week 15

The 49ers beat the Cardinals 24-9 on Monday night thanks to Frank Gore’s 167 rushing yards and the defense forcing seven turnovers. Gore also had a touchdown in the victory, as San Fran covered as 4-point underdogs and the combined score went under the posted total of 44.5 points.

The Eagles beat division rival New York 45-38 as a 1-point favorite in Week 14. The combined score went over the posted total of 42.5 points as Donovan McNabb threw for 275 yards and two touchdowns in the win. Receiver DeSean Jackson also caught six passes for 178 yards and a touchdown, while also running back a punt 82 yards for a score.

Oddsmakers from online sports book SPORTSBETTING.com have made the Eagles 8-point favorites over the 49ers in Week 15. The over/under total for Sunday’s game has been set at 41.5 points.

The 49ers are just 1-4 against the spread in their last five games when playing Philadelphia, but 5-1 ATS in their last six games when playing on the road against the Eagles. Meanwhile, Philly is 14-7 against the number in its last 21 games and 6-3 ATS in its last nine games at home.

While there’s no question the Eagles have the better team, the 49ers offer some value getting eight points. Mike Singletary won't allow them to quit and considering they still have a small shot at winning the NFC West, they should come out ready to play. Plus, now that Alex Smith is back under center, the 49ers also have a decent passing game to go along with Gore’s playmaking ability on the ground.

Check the weather report, but the east coast is expected to get dumped on with snow this Sunday. If that’s the case, the underdog getting over a touchdown in points is usually a smart play. Our free pick prediction for this game is San Francisco +8 and the under 41.5, especially if the weather is as bad as forecasts suggest it’ll be.

Our NFL Week 15 Free Pick for this matchup is: SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS +8 and UNDER 41.5.

49ers vs. Eagles Current Odds

313 San Francisco 49ers +8 (+310 moneyline) Over 41.5
314 Philadelphia Eagles –8 (-420 moneyline) Under 41.5

NFL Week 15 Betting Trends

NFL Week 15 Free Pick: Falcons vs. Jets Point Spread Odds & Matchup

The Atlanta Falcons and New York Jets hope to keep their postseason hopes alive when they meet at 1:00PM ET on Sunday at Giants Stadium.

Bet NFL Week 15

The Falcons lost to the Saints 26-23 as a 10-point underdog in Week 14, while the combined score went under the posted total of 50 points. Chris Redman threw for 303 yards with a touchdown and an interception for Atlanta, while Michael Jenkins caught three passes for 83 yards and a touchdown.

The Jets beat the Bucs 26-3 as a 3.5-point favorite in Week 15, as the combined score went under the posted total of 36.5 points. Thomas Jones rushed for 99 yards and two touchdowns on 24 carries for the Jets, while Kellen Clemens threw for 111 yards in the win.

Oddsmakers from online sports book Sports Interaction have made the Jets 7-point favorites over the Falcons in Week 15. The over/under total for Sunday’s matchup has been set at 36 points.

Atlanta is just 2-3-1 against the spread in its last six games when playing the Jets, while New York is just 3-6 ATS in its last nine games at home. The total has also gone under in four of the Falcons’ last five games when playing the Jets.

With the Cowboys’ win over the Saints on Saturday night, the Falcons have officially been eliminated from the playoffs. So with that in mind, what do they have to play for? Better yet, why would they risk injury to Matt Ryan and Michael Turner by playing them at less than 100%?

Don’t expect Ryan and Turner to play, and don’t expect much fight out of a Falcons team that had their slim playoff hopes evaporate on Saturday night. They have nothing to play for outside of a winning season and they’re going to be playing in frigid conditions.

Our free pick prediction for this game is the Jets –7. They still have a chance to make the playoffs and will come out more energized than the Falcons. They also have a great matchup against a depleted Atlanta offense, which will have struggle scoring. In fact, both teams might have a tough time moving the ball, so we love the under in this game too.

Our NFL Week 15 Free Pick for this matchup is: NEW YORK JETS -7 and UNDER 36.

Falcons vs. Jets Current Odds

315 Atlanta Falcons +7 Over 36
316 New York Jets –7 Under 36
