Schedule Spot

Ottawa RedBlacks at Winnipeg Blue Bombers (-7, 55.5)

On Friday, north of the border, Ottawa will visit Winnipeg. The RedBlacks are off an impressive 29-11 road win on Sunday. However, keep in mind that victory came against a Montreal squad which has really been struggling of late. Also, lets not forget that the RedBlacks are still a sub-500 team. Now, they play on an extra short week against a very well-rested Winnipeg team. The Bombers, who won by three at Ottawa back in August, were last in action way back on Sept. 9th. They destroyed Saskatchewan by a 48-28 margin in that one. With the schedule in their favor, take a look at the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.

Letdown Spot

Boston College Eagles at Clemson Tigers (-34.5, 52.5)

The Tigers are off an impressive nationally televised win at Louisville. Prior to that, they'd beaten Auburn. Now 3-0 SU/ATS, they're being asked to lay a ton of points. (Most shops are at -34.5, as of this writing.) Off those back-to-back "big" wins and with another "high profile" game at V-Tech on deck, the Tigers may be ripe for a minor emotional letdown here. Not enough to cost them the game, just enough to prevent them from covering the inflated number. Off a blowout loss against Notre Dame and having been hammered by the Tigers last season, the Eagles are going to be doing everything they can to avoid a repeat performance. Consider plugging your nose and grabbing the generous points with Boston College.

Lookahead Spot

Denver Broncos at Buffalo Bills (+3, 40)

Off a blowout victory over the Cowboys, the 2-0 Broncos have to be feeling pretty good about themselves. They're tied with the Chiefs and Raiders on top of the division. (With an 0-2 record, the Chargers are 0-2 in the basement.) Speaking of the Raiders, the Broncos will host them next week. With that pivotal divisional showdown on deck and playing their first road game of the season, it might be easy to get caught looking ahead, past the Bills. Assuming you're getting at least a field goal, check out Buffalo, plus the points, on Sunday afternoon.
