The Steelers opened at -4.5 and the latest line I have seen is -6.5. I bought the Steelers at -5. My lines have the Steelers-6.5, so if you haven't made a wager on this game, I would wait and see if it goes to -7. If it doesn't, I would buy the half and play Tennessee. I don't expect alot of scoring with these two defenses and I am thinking of a 20-14 Steeler win.
The terrible towel incident may not be that big a deal, but the fact that the Steelers were embarrassed 14-31 should have them focused. I think Tennessee is too good of a team, to be a 7 or more point dog. Both teams have started the season strong in the first 4 games, the last two years, with the Steelers going 6-2 straight up, but only 4-4 ATS. The Titans have been a smoking 7-1 SU and ATS, but are only 3-2 ATS as an away dog. The Steelers were 9-4 as a home favorite. Mike at vegasflyer.net
If I drop this game, just remember that Palamalu and Woodson, went out when Tennessee went right down the field in the last minute of the half. You can't handicap that! What you can do though, is bet the second half over, and Tennessee if they don't return.
I am not so sure about Woodson, but I think Palamalu will show up in the second half. I'm staying with my play, but you have to admit that last minute was messed up. I'm taking a shot on Pit-3.5 and under 17.5 for the second half. I just hope this thing doesn't open wide with no defense on either side. I can't see that happening, but there is always a first time.
I may be screwed now, Palamalu is out, but woodson will return.
The "D" looked good on the first series, so hopefully I didn't over react. Pitt's offense looks like they will keep it on the ground. Just drive!
Both these teams are putting on a real snooze fest tonight.
