Denver Nuggets at Cleveland Cavaliers

Go with LeBron James and the Cavaliers at home for their sixth straight win. Cleveland is 8-4 both straight-up and against the spread in their last 12 games at Quicken Loans Arena against the Nuggets. LeBron James is on a roll and leads the NBA, averaging over 28 points per game.

Cleveland Cavaliers -5½

New York Jets New England Patriots

Payback time! Favre and his New York boys look for revenge, following a 19-10 home loss in week 2 against New England. Favre interception was the killer in that game, but now he is relaxed and all set with the Jets’ offense. Go with the Jets in a close battle versus the depleted Patriots.

New York Jets +3

Wunderdog

Montreal at Boston
Pick: UNDER 5.5

Both of these teams are off to big starts which is developing into a three-team race in the NHL Northeast. Both of these squads have gotten superb net play, and Montreal will enter this one fresh off a Carey Price home shutout of Ottawa. Meanwhile, Boston has been the stingiest team in the NHL in their last seven games. The Bruins have allowed just eight goals, or barely over one per game. Boston is 35-16-4 to the UNDER when an opponent allowed two goals or less in their last game, while Montreal has been 9-3-2 in the same situation. Expect a hard-checking game and not much scoring, so the UNDER gets the call in this one.

Priceless Picks

1 Unit on Dallas Mavericks

Both the Bulls and the Mavs are struggling in the early going but I like the veteran Mavs to continue their dominance of the young Bulls tonight. Dallas is 8-3 SU and 9-2 ATS over the last 11 meetings at Chicago and 18-5 SU over the last 23 meetings with the Bulls. Now that's owning a team! The Road team is also 5-2 ATS in the last 7 meetings. The Bulls are just 3-9 ATS in their last 12 vs. the NBA Southwest and 1-7 ATS in their last 8 after scoring 100 points or more in their previous game. Take the Mavs tonight.

Jeff Alexander Sports

1 Unit on Golden State Warriors +4.5

We'll take Golden State in the home dog role tonight baring in mind the struggles the Pistons have had in this matchup. The Pistons are 3-11 ATS in the last 14 meetings and 1-7 ATS in the last 8 meetings in Golden State . The Warriors are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 vs. the Eastern Conference while the Pistons are 0-6 ATS in their last 6 when their opponent allows 100 points or more in their previous game. This Pistons team is not built to play run and gun basketball. Take the Warriors at home as they push the tempo tonight.

Marc Lawrence

Detroit Pistons @ Golden State Warriors
PICK: Golden State Warriors

When the Warriors take on the Pistons in Golden State tonight they will do so knowing they are 12-4 ATS in this series, including 7-1 ATS when hosting Detroit. With the Piston looking ahead to tomorrow's big showdown with the Lakers in Los Angeles, look for Golden State to pull off the surprise here this evening.

We recommend a 1-unit play on Golden State.
