I seem to be stuck on going 3-2 for two consecutive weeks, after promising starts. (3-0 in week 1, and 3-1 in week 2, blowing the Monaday night total. This week, I have some crazy picks, but I will tell you why I played what I did.

Arizona-2.5 Indy has a short week and was the Monday night winner. They still have injuries and are not full strength. The Cardinals seem to have found last year's offense. This game should be close, but I have to stay with my power ratings on this one.

Atlanta+4 This is more of a bet against New England. I have watched them play for two weeks and Brady looks a little gun-shy back in the pocket. He still is over-throwing some passes, and his receivers are not catching them. They should get Welker back which will help. The defense has 7 new starters.Atlanta picked up Gonzales and he will be key in this match-up. Atlanta has a chance to win this outright.

Cleveland+13.5 This was a power rating and trend play. The Browns are 8-0 ATS since 2001 when they are off an away loss, as long as they were not a +4 point dog in that loss. Cleveland has won every game straight up- five as an underdog.

Buffalo+6 This is a power rating and trend play. I like the over, but didn't have that choice. the Saints are 0-8 ATS since 1995 as a favorite after a win in which they allowed at least 290 passing yards.

Carolina+9 This is also a power rating play and trend play. The Panthers are 8-0 ATS the week before a bye week. Dallas is 0-23 since November 1993, the week after they threw at least 8 passes more, than their season to date pass attempts per game as a favorite. They are also 0-10 ATS since 1992 as a TD+ favorite the week after a straight up loss as a home favorite.

What a week, favorites everywhere!, I have not ever gone 0-5, this could be the week. The Panthers are up against the wall, they have to be competitive here. I need some perfect weeks in the next few weeks. I have this SDQL book that I received at the football seminar, and it really screwed me up this week. It was ok last week, but I think I'll put more stock in my own picks. If you rode me this week, I'll make it up.
