Over 37 JAC/PHL
Under 35 STL/CIN
Miami+2.5
The Eagles will have some offensive weapons back, and the Jag's have 3 starting linebackers out. Jacksonville has not been a scoring machine after two preseason games, but Philly has given up 23 and 27 points. The Jag's might feed off the fact that they are 7 point dogs, and Vick playing. I think the consensus is thinking the other way, that Reid will pull out a lot of tricks in his bag to make Vick's debut look like a good decision.
The over or cover may come through the backdoor tonight.
The Bengals are due a breakout game on offense, but with Palmer still out, I can't put much faith in it. This is their first home game this preseason. The Rams are in the same state with Bulger out. The Bengals defense has played better than the Rams, but neither team has shown much offense.
One word, Sparano. He likes to win in the preseason, and they are getting points.
Philadelphia Eagles -1½ -115 for 1st Quarter
Everything I have read points to the Jags just going through the motions for this game.
It's a good thing you just played the first quarter. The Eagles are definetly playing Reid ball. Cincinnati still has it's starters in. (3rd QTR). Two turnovers led to 14 quick points, I had no chance for the under there. I hope Miami+2.5 comes through, the game is being delayed by lightening.
I only play first quarters and first halfs during preseason, I couldn't tell you how many times over the years I have a easy win given away when the scrubs come in late.
I have two crazy tickets. I played the Eagles moneyline, with the Dolphins moneyline, and Packers moneyline. it pays 7.65 to 1 with a chance to hedge tomorrow night if Miami wins.
Preseason is great for setting up tickets with multiple games on Thur, Fri, Sat, Sun, and Monday night. My other ticket had the over 37 Jac/Phl, Dolphins+2.5, and the under 37 NE/Was. I had 3 straight bets on tonights games, and hopefully Miami will hold on.I am setting at 1-1 waiting on Miami. That total on Stl/Cin was ugly.
The only game with both starting QB's out. Too many turnovers! Speaking of turnovers, Chicago and Denver have 13 between them in 2 games!
