NCAA Hoops Non-Conference Parlay Of The Year

10* Take North Carolina (-9) over Michigan State (NCAA Top Play)
North Carolina has covered the spread in 11 consecutive December games and they have also won 19 of the last 20 games as a road favorite of 6.5 to 12 points. North Carolina has covered the spread in 8 of the last 9 games after allowing 55 points or less and they are averaging over 99 points a game on the road this season.

10* Take Wake Forest (-23) over Indiana (NCAA Top Play)
Indiana has lost 8 consecutive games as a road underdog of 10 points or more and they have also lost 12 of the last 15 games against the spread coming off an UNDER the total. Meanwhile, Wake Forest is 6-0 this season and they are averaging over 92 points a game at home this season.

5* Take Boston (-12.5) over Indiana (NBA Bonus Play)

Dr. Bob

Opinion

UL LAFAYETTE (-5.0) 34 Middle Tenn 27

UL Lafayette quarterback Michael Desormeaux appears to be fully recovered from the sprained ankle that kept him out of the week 8 game against Arkansas State and limited his running for a couple of weeks after his return to the lineup. Desormeaux scampered for 145 yards on 12 rushing plays against Troy in the Ragin Cajuns’ most recent game and he’s now run for 878 yards at 7.4 yards per rushing play this season. Desormeaux is also a decent passer (6.6 yards per pass play against teams that would combine to allow 6.6 yppp to an average QB) – although he does throw too many interceptions (5% int pct) – and he should be too much for Middle Tennessee State in this game. Middle Tennessee’s hopes lie with senior quarterback Joe Craddock, who has posted solid numbers for an offense without a rushing attack and Craddock should thrive against ULL’s soft defense in this game. It probably won’t be enough, however, as my math model favors Lafayette by 7 ½ points.

GameTime Sports

SIENA vs. Loyola Maryland
Pick: Sienna -7.5

We are backing Sienna here. This is a veteran team with all their starters back. Sienna has played a tough schedule already facing Tennesse and Okie State, plus Wichita State and Cornell. Loyola has been smoked by BC and Davidson, the only 2 teams that can claim to even have basketball teams on their schedule. Saints 4-1 ATS last 5 in this series and the road team is 11-2 ATS last 13 in this series. Take SIENNA TO ROLL

10* Best Bet

Arkansas LR vs. Missouri State
Pick: Arkansas LR +3.5

This is a good team. Don't let the name fool you. They have 4 guys averaging in double figures and most of the starters are back from last year, a team that won 20 games. They are winning by 9 points a game and haven't lost yet this year. I like them in this situation tonight.

5* Best bet

Rhode Island vs. Northeastern
Pick: Northeastern +1.5

They lost to R.I. last year by 20, so playing at home with revenge will be a factor. The key for Northeastern will be shutting down Jimmy Barron who is averaging 19 a game. Northeastern would like to get a win here before they head on their 4 game road trip. They have a lot of people back from last year, and should be a more improved team.

Massachusetts vs. Toledo
Pick: 4* Toledo + 1.5
