A pair of 2-0 teams will square off at 8:00PM ET tonight when Boston College hosts Florida State as a home underdog.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book GT Bets, the Eagles are 7.5-point underdogs versus the Seminoles after opening as an 8-point dog. The total, meanwhile, sits at 46.5 points after opening at 51.
Boston College enters play with a 2-0 record and a 1-1 mark against the spread, while Florida State is also 2-0 straight up and 1-1 against the number. Both of the Eagles' wins have come at home while this is the Seminoles' first road test of 2015.
Florida State has won both games against subpar opponents. The Seminoles' defense has allowed just 30 points in its first two games.
Last year, FSU beat Boston College by a narrow 20-17 margin. Expect a low-scoring game as the Eagles try to win the time of possession by using their running game, which is led by Myles Willis and Marcus Outlaw.
The Eagles are a very physical team and will attempt to pound the ball to keep the Florida State offense off the field. This is the first test for new quarterback Everett Golson and the Seminoles' inexperienced offense.
