I have not been on the forum for several months and want to extend a hello to Cash and Blade. I saw two sports movies recently that I highly recommend. They are also excellent movies you can watch with your family. Below I have listed their names with a synopsis about them. Please watch these two movies. You will be glad you did. Undefeated77 8)

1) The Miracle

Based on the exciting true story of one of the greatest moments in modern history, Miracle is the inspiring story of the team that transcended its sport and united a nation with a new feeling of hope. In 1980, the United States Ice Hockey team’s coach, Herb Brooks (KURT RUSSELL), challenged a ragtag squad of college kids to take on the awesome juggernaut from the Soviet Union – the greatest hockey team in the world – at the Olympic Games. Despite the long odds, Team USA carried the pride of a nation yearning for a distraction from world events. With the world watching, the team rose to the occasion, prompting broadcaster Al Michaels’ now famous question to the millions viewing at home: “Do you believe in miracles? Yes!”

2) Facing the Giants

Facing the Giants is the story of Grant Taylor, a mediocre high school football coach. After several years of failing seasons, the Shiloh Eagles consider replacing him as head coach. This is not the only problem Taylor is facing however; his car is breaking down, the players' fathers are trying to get him fired, and he discovers that he is the reason that his wife Brooke cannot become pregnant.

In order to find a solution to these problems, he turns to the strength that comes from his faith. He creates a new coaching philosophy. From that point on, he loses only one game and goes on to win the state championship. His wife also finally becomes pregnant and two years later Brooke is pregnant with their second child.

Let it ride is a classic.

I always thought Breaking Away was a movie that didn't get a lot of respect.

REMEMBER THE TITANS
with Denzel Washington

This is an excellent true story about a high school football team and the
integration that occured between the black and white players on the team
and their undefeated record and eventual championship win.

This is highly recommended. Watch it and you will like it for sure.
