Just an opinion, but keeping politics and religion out of sports forums has proven to be a benfit to more than one site. Aside from being flammable, they act as a turn off to many who come to sports forums to get away from just such nonsense. True, one can just avoid the blatherings of the adult section by not entering, but when the post pops up on the home page this is not always easy, especially when you see moronic rantings from the far right and radical left.
