The auto industries problems are of their own making. You can't blame this one on the government pops.
Years and years of mismanagement, union extortion and not running lean enough is what this comes down to.
You can blame the fact people can't get financing to buy now on the government but this day was decades in the making.
When I worked at Ford 10 years ago I knew this day was inevitable when I would look outside of my office and see 5 people making over 100k a year watching TV instead of doing their jobs.
